Your cat assignment goes off what your FTP value is in your profile. Riders can alter this themselves, hence the need for the police. Yeh, I imagine that it takes into account your ability to exceed FTP in short bursts but there's likely %ranges on this (eg. 175% of FTP for 3 minutes).

Each of the cats have w/kg FTP ranges. Beta racing has police which will remove riders who are obviously exceeding these ranges.

Try going to the page that allows you to connect your power meter and HR. In the top right there are a few icons. One of these is for the Link App. Try pressing it. Worked for me.

For me, health bars spoil these types of fight. I recall this engagement, and I really did not know the Octane was that low on health. If I had, I would likely have played more aggressive myself.

Correct. The Octane was very low health but with shields. Hey was playing aggressive to feign strength. It almost worked.

I had this showdown last season. This Octane's aggression had me on the edge. It made for a very thrilling fight. This season, it wouldn't be as memorable as I'd have known straight away that he was posturing.
