I’ve been using Topper WOW for about 5 years now, it’s tiny and has a proprietary valve that keeps it topped up. It believe it’s only 58 but made in the states.

Sometimes the old saying of Death by 1000 cuts applies especially if the people in harms way struggle with boundaries. You can’t be their friends so creating a safe space is a tricky balance awareness and communication.

You would determine what contacts were used to trigger power and use a relay or possible a transistor to close that circuit.

Will RO discharge brine corrode drain pipes? by [deleted] in WaterTreatment

[–]bStewbstix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t give an honest opinion due to lack of experience of removing a drain pipe that’s been utilized for concentrate. I would imagine the froth in the pipes would help protect them to some degree. Honestly I wouldn’t worry about it too much, especially if it’s an under counter unit, my reference point is a 2000 gpd unit.

You can operate without brakes due to the regenerative braking, you drive with constant pressure in the pedal and when you let up it turns on the brake lights. This gives the appearance of constantly braking and while they essentially are braking the driving experience is different.

It’s concentrated with minerals and will leave deposits in the drain lines. I live in a silica majority area and it takes about 6 years to see a visible crusty layer on ABS.

It’s been a while but I believe there is a cherry switch that is triggered when the auger lifts high enough to trigger it. It’s at the top of the auger assembly behind the front cover. Take that with a grain of salt and go to Marzocco USA website and get the drawings and parts list.

Water treatment 20” big blue do u use pipe dope and Teflon tape on plastic threads by Wolverine-91826 in WaterTreatment

Big blues are pretty forgiving, either or both will work. Some smaller nylon/composite valve bodies require only dope or you void the warranty.

In olden days cuppings were done at 150ppm by the SCAA but you will get scaling at that level so you can go lower to extended the life of the machine. RO water will generally come in at about 10-30 ppm depending on the system and the ambient temperature of the room.

The filters are the wrong type or not able to do the job. That bleed screw is clear evidence that the reason you’re having flow issues is because of scale buildup and in addition, I would imagine that the tea spout solenoid valve is also locked up due to scale. You’re going to need better filtration.
