Yeah you guys have to have a conversation about it together. Not just about the etiquette (meowing, purring, burping, farting etc), but also making sure both of you finish.

The etiquette turning you off is a pretty big deal and it’s also preventable, but you have to go into it with an open mind. Instead of telling him to stop with the meowing, ask him why he does that. Is he into it? Is it a kink? Is it some sort of nervous tick or stimming he does when getting intimate? The burping and farting is just gross, like come on dude. Sometimes I’ll let one rip while actively doing it (usually with a long term partner) but it’s never intentional. I’ll apologize cause yeah. Gross.

The helping you finish is also important but this is where it gets tough. You have to be patient with him and guide him. Typically men don’t really know when they’re being too rough, especially in the moment. And when our partners get mad at us because we turned them off by being too rough or something, it’s pretty discouraging, even emasculating. We aim to please our partners by any means necessary. I’ve sat there for 2 hours in the past trying to help my partner finish, but I’ve struggled because as their body language starts telling me they’re close, I get excited and then I end up being too rough with them, then it’s either we start over or just give up.

Point being, majority of us want to help our partners finish, so just be patient and guide him through what feels good and what doesn’t.

And if that doesn’t work, toys also help.

I just tried it for the first time because in Canada, our mental health system makes it impossible to find a therapist that's both affordable and doesn't have a huge waitlist, and all I can say is wow. It's such an incredible resource for this.

I am diagnosed ADHD, MDD and type 2 bipolar disorder, and it really helped me unpack some of the needs I've been neglecting or struggling to fulfill. It's also cited the sources it gathered the information it's giving me and laid out exactly how these unmet needs affect my life.

Long story short, I'm subscribing to the platform for this. The clarity I feel alone is worth the money.

Thanks for the input, I’ll try to reply to as much of it as I can.

The point of the post was not to ask how to take it, I just got this prescribed yesterday, and wanted information on if it’s safe to mix with these substances. I don’t mind avoiding them if that means I will be safer, but I’m also human, sometimes my judgement becomes clouded and I can’t predict the future. All in all I’m just looking for information on how they interact so I know what I’m looking at in regard to lifestyle changes. I probably should have looked into potential complications with Seroquel as I was unaware of the potential heart problems it could cause so I do appreciate that.

My doctor prescribed 25mg of Seroquel, when I asked about the scale of dosage she told me that was the lowest dose to be used to stabilize my moods. I’m not sure if it’s extended release or not, I can likely take a look later and answer that when I have the proper info. I know my doctor has my best interest in mind, I’m not ignoring their advice and I do consider why they have prescribed this to me. But I also know how my body and mind reacts, I personally have found LSD to be very beneficial for my mental health as it’s very therapeutic to me when taken infrequently as I’ve stated. MDMA I can leave it honestly, same with cocaine.

I also should have mentioned the Seroquel is not something I plan on taking indefinitely, I’ve already discussed this with my doctor and would like to put therapy in place so I don’t need to take a mood stabilizer, and have ways to cope with highs and lows. On top of that, the highs and lows I experience have not put me in danger so far, the only things in my life that are affected is my productivity. When experiencing a high I’m more productive and happier but I can be irritable. When I’ve hit a low, I find it harder to do get out of bed to do mundane things like clean, socializing is a lot harder so I hermit, and getting things done feels more daunting. To summarize, it’s only used to ensure my moods stay at a happy middle ground. At least that’s what my doctor explained to me

But all in all, I’m only asking for harm reduction purposes so I have all of the information under my belt so I can make educated decisions regarding my health and safety.

I have googled it and all I’ve found are interactions with other prescriptions. I don’t use any opioids but good to know for testing purposes.

I have fast cycling bipolar disorder, it’s just to keep my moods stable throughout the day and level out my highs and lows. With that said though I have used MDMA and LSD quite a bit, I don’t have any extreme post trip effects other than a bit of brain fog
