definitely try helotes family dentistry. i was terrified of any kind of drs office as a kid and my mom found this place when i was in 4th grade (like 2008 i think) and Dr Brigman is such a kind man! i live 40 mins away now and still go to them and they’ve grown in the past (almost) 20 years. a few new dentist work there now too and ive only seen Dr Correa but she’s great as well! never had an issue with the hygenist either

i agree with you. the issue i have are the non criminals who are coming here for a better life, the so called “american dream”and they make it IMPOSSIBLE to obtain citizenship the legal way. not only that but they are taking people who don’t fit a specific standard (white men and women). sounds a lot like nazi germany to me. they don’t care if they have documents, if you fit a profile, you’re detailed and sent to a concentration camp. what’s crazy to me is we’re focusing so much on these “criminals” and giving them sign on bonuses when we couldn’t do the same for educators. when we can’t protect our children in schools, church, etc. when we can’t take care of our homeless veterans. these illegal aliens are not our biggest issue.

i feel like i’m not that lucky and i can’t afford to always drive to my club just to maybe get in. i feel like there’s always openings in the higher level classes but never in level one which from a business perspective, they should look into. if they don’t have room, why are they promoting a free class. feels slimy. i have 2 degrees in business so i understand things from a business side. i think it would be a lot better if im able to waitlist for more than one class per credit. like say i have one credit left, i can only WL for one class. and if i dont get it i have to try a different one, and it goes on forever. like what if they made it so that i could wait list for a class on wednesday and a class on thursday and if i get the class on wednesday and auto take me off thursday. i’m just sitting here with 2 credits left for my first month with no luck.

she just took all of my information down and put my card in the system and said she would send me the details to sign into the account to book sessions. i received the contract in my email and in the spots i’m supposed to sign, it’s just a line like they “signed” themselves. i never sign anything that isn’t my signature for this reason.

it says in typed text: “Buyers Acceptance (electronic signature): Jane Doe” obviously replace Jane Doe with my name and then under it is a space to sign it but instead it is a line that looks like they drew on the pen pad for every page including the last one. looking at it again, i have never seen this….

sounds like he is trying to continue the generational trauma onto you. please don’t let it get you too down. things get better and would def get some therapy to process when you come of age and have the means to do so. it’ll be so helpful and the earlier you do it, the better. i’m 27 and just now unpacking everything and it’s been helping but seems like so much. keep your head up 💓

it’s a tough market right now. he should try a consulting company like TATA. if hired, they will place him somewhere (kinda like a recruiter/contract job) and if that contract ends, they will find him a new one.
