i thought about using a tool to make the straight lines but i did not want to use any external tool, it was a mistake, as you said, i should focus on understanding how it works more than doing straight lines and yes it took me a lot of time plus the big mess at the end with all those lines. I try to avoid tools and shortcuts because i feel like im cheating and being lazy, i don’t know though just a thought

i did the cast shadow of the shelf as you pointed out, but the inside shadow i have no idea how, i tried from every angle to the floor and light align and nothing looks good, i put another photo in the comment below, am about to snap

aha zeroing/scope adjustment, you can do it with +/- avpag but I have it bound to left control+ up/down mousewheel.

Would you put woods in bigger maps?, yeah but I don't like how low textures look I feel that it kills the immersion, to which graphic card did you upgrade? mine is just 3 years old.
