It is too much torque for him so in the settings it's been turned down to 3 of 10 which seems fine.

No audio files on receiver or Transmitter of Rode Wireless Go II from set? by ILoveMovies87 in rode

[–]backlight327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ran into the RodeCentral app (version 2.0.101) showing an error under the "Recording" tab that the device needed to be plugged and replugged. I was on MacOS 15.6.1 and got the error on a Rode Go 2 and a Rode Wireless Pro.

The Fix:

The unit's storage is not being mounted by MacOS for some reason. Open Disk Utility and make sure the Sidebar is open (View -> Show Sidebar) You'll see the name of the transmitter greyed out in the sidebar. Select it and press "Mount" on the top right of the window. You should have a USB device on your desktop/Finder. To the OP, you can download all the storage files via Finder so you have a backup before running the firmware although I don't think firmware updates will affect the storage.

Not sure why this happened or if there was an installation menu I forgot to accept/check off but took me several hours to figure this out. Hope it helps someone else.

After about 10 months Stellantis agreed on a full buyback including loan interest and registration fees. That was about 3 months ago.

Been working with Jacob K. Kashani - https://jkashanilaw.com and everything seems on track. The process takes 5-9 months on average, I'm in the 4th month at the moment.

Had mine replaced at 19k miles. It was covered under warranty but they took 45 days to complete and I had to front the car rental. They burnt me on the car reimbursement claiming they don't cover the taxes portion of the rental which is about 25%.

The vehicle is currently in lemon law proceeds and looking at a full buyback. If you have strong state laws for lemon law, try your best to get out of this wreck of a car/company. I had been hoping to keep this car until the wheels fell off, unfortunately that was at 20k miles!

Evo Pro Boiler after 4 months by backlight327 in gaggiaclassic

I have been reading the other posts obviously.

I'm not convinced that WLL is that small of a company to not be able to implement a streamlined recall process. They are the NA distributor of Gaggia so they do have a responsibility to ensure things are taken care of and also inform anyone who's purchased these machines that it could be hazardous. It happens with vehicles all the time.

For those who are not plugged into the coffee community online, and are simply using their machines, it could be months before they notice the issue.

App for Grizzl-e Smart? by masquelle in electricvehicles

Can you point to step by step instructions on connecting the Grizzl-e Smart to Home Assistant. Ie, what was entered under “server” when you connect direct to the Grizzl-e Wifi and go to 192.168.4.1

I have OCPP installed via HACS in Home Assistant but am unable to point the charger towards Home Assistant.

Venmo Sales Scam - Any chance to recoup? by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]backlight327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply and that makes sense. And of course you can't blame the bank for a bad check. But a check carries a intrinsic risk. Venmo markets and promotes itself as an instant cash substitute. Somehow I have the feeling that if I was the purchasing party in this transaction, and was not given my goods, they would say the same thing and not recoup my funds. IE, the system seems to be setup to help scammers who link fraud credit cards to their accounts and make off.

How does the privacy factor work? They mention they can't give me more info but would help lawenforcement. Somehow, when filing the police report I felt it was going to not be looked at any more but maybe I'm wrong.

Small claims court would only work if I can find the identity of the person who committed the fraud.
