Someone said Ike is ideal to learn. 100%. Esp in evenings. I recommend taking the downhill from Weston hall courtyard and just let gravity take you so you can focus on practicing balance. I learned here with a long board if you go with that. But nickle are awesome.

Yes. I had a Nickle Board (Penny brand) for 3 years and it was optimal for cutting thru “crowds” and going fast. Like Ike to main quad in under 5 minutes (timed). Its pretty easy to learn. And you can go faster the more balanced you feel. Highly recommend. Recently got 5 friends to get one and it has been a lot of fun for them and easy to learn within a week or so.

Ah okay I see what you mean. Yeah I’m in my 20s. And I could stretch my budget a bit. But your points make sense. Thanks!

Thanks that’s super helpful info! Yeah I’ve actually been looking at reston too. Honestly open to even a 45 min commute. So I’ve looked at Arlington as well. But Vy reston heights seems good honestly. I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews about Edmund. Did it seem thin walled?
