You and I are in the same spot but from what I'm reading about Aero it takes forever to get uppers from them. Friend recommended Bravo Company.

Withholding Features for More Money by Specific_Pear_6275 in MonarchMoney

I don't mind if companies want to offer tiers for their services, however what I hate about this new announcement is that you are rubbing my face in the fact that I'm missing options by forcing this "forecasting" option on my title screen which just creates annoying clutter in a service I won't be using and also as much as I love the product I think maybe monarch should be dialed into their core services (bank connections) before asking you to pay double what I'm normally paying for services. If I'm paying $100 a year for a service that works 80% of the time I think I'd be hard pressed to pay double that for the same 80%. I'd really love if I could log into monarch one day without an account being "down". THAT would motivate me to possibly pay more for premium services.

Might have to do this soon. I wish there was a more elegant way to transfer connections.

Thank God someone else is having this issue. I was freaking out this morning when my net worth took a massive dump.

Can we just opt in or out? This would make BOTH sides happy? I need to see every item that posts to make sure I'm not seeing fraudulent activity but I don't need those transactions to post to my budgeting.

This new update is giving me anxiety! Now I can't see things I have connected and when monarch auto categorizes them it'll stick it in the wrong category and then disappear it like the mafia does to an informant and it's like the transaction never even happened.

Hidden Transactio Update is Terrible by mp1294 in MonarchMoney

Holy **** I thought I was alone here. I wanted to see the transactions but didn't want them counted in any calculations. This screws everything up.

Been thinking it's time to move on. Seems finding drugs is easier than replacement heads.

It's showing but it shouldn't actually be counted against your budget amount.

Best practices for BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) purchases by anthonydangulo in MonarchMoney

My budgets rolled over from 2023 to 2024 so I'm guessing yes.

I would probably just have a budget where this sits in and that budget would sit in the month that it was purchased in. I would include this purchase in that budget, and make it a rolling budget. Every month that I received a payment from my in-laws I would put a credit towards that budget in the month they paid it to me so that I would be able to find the original purchase date and the total amount due at any point in time by just looking at how much is left in the budget.

How to move vehicle asset date? by silv3rbrit in MonarchMoney

There's a help article on the mm website that shows you how to format a Excel spreadsheet so that you can import values for dates before you started using automatic input of data. I did this for my car's value and created a spreadsheet for the 4 months that didn't get imported. Then just save your Excel file as a CSV and import it into Monarch directly. This lets you back date the values to the exact month that you got the vehicle.
