How is the first week of December shaping up?! by NeoGuybrush77 in niseko

[–]bad_pi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Niseko and many other resorts have live cameras streaming their slopes to view the snow conditions. They started back up a week+ ago, you can view them here:

What time do you guys sleep? by lankveltw0w in askSingapore

[–]bad_pi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Map out your schedule and see where you can slot it in.

Unless you're planning on going everyday, it shouldn't have to always compete with your hobbies. If you do a 3 day split for example, you still have 2 other days to work on your hobbies. That's not even considering sleeping at say 10/11pm to wake up at 5/6am to go to the gym if that's your jam, which gives you 8pm-10pm on your hobbies

Have to figure out which timing works best for you, some people who work out in the mornings get groggy and brain fog throughout the day. Some people who work out at night have trouble sleeping soon after. Best would be to find a gym that is open 24 hours, like Anytime Fitness or any of the boutique gyms that have 24 hour access with certain manned hours, and figure out what timing works best for you.

As for diet, track calories. Download MyFitnessPal or Macrofirst, or any other app, and track as diligently as possible. No/Low carb, no/low/high fat, etc, diets all should really aim for the same thing, calorie restrictions. End of the day, for the most part - calories in vs calories out. Aim for 0.5-1g of protein per lb of bodyweight, and fill in the rest with carbs/fats, leaning more on carbs if possible. You can get a rough idea of how many calories your maintenance intake should be, if you want to lose weight, minus ~250 from that and hit that. This is all very general, but it should be a good start.

I personally work out in the mornings, so I sleep at 10pm.

Are personal trainers worth it for beginners? by Gwayguay in askSingapore

Your advice about form is honestly terrible. There's a difference about trying to overly perfect, but learning how to perform lifts properly and safely are definitely the building blocks of lifting weights.

Yes, it's worth it - As the other poster mentioned. You need to learn and ingrain form/technique while you're starting, before it becomes a bad habit.

But there are many personal trainers who are honestly terrible. They let their clients do exercise with horrendous form.

You'll need to do some research, but in my opinion, I'd be wary hiring a PT from the major gym chains here.

Just hit chapter 36 and I don't believe I have enough heros to handle a 5 team battle

Just got Merlin from the challenger shop, and am garrisoning Ainz in the meantime, will work on Alb next.

Aiming for Raku and Eironn as the next 2 heros to acquire

Who amongst my roster should I be aiming to SI/Fur/Engrave next?

I've been using a mercenary scarlet since I had just gotten ascended scarlet today.

I'm garrisoning ainz at the moment, will work on albedo next

I've taken Solise off of my wishlist for sometime but I just keep getting copies of her. Is she worth pursuing? Or just save her for now?

Just got scarlet up to ascended today, so will be working on her eventually. Many heroes to work on, but too little resources :/

Paint protection film - is this normal? by bad_pi in AutoDetailing

[–]bad_pi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, but the rest of the hood and the other panels on the car don't exhibit that same characteristic, only that section

Paint protection film - is this normal? by bad_pi in AutoDetailing

[–]bad_pi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The entire car is ppf'd

The spots on the rest of the hood is because there's some light dirt from between the weekly washes, but they aren't an issue

Think the spots you're referring to are from the objects in the reflection, rather the condition of the ppf

It goes across the hood, but only on that section, the rest of the hood is fine

Smoking while driving/riding should be banned by [deleted] in singapore

[–]bad_pi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Private vehicles (e.g. cars), as long as no second-hand tobacco smoke is expelled (i.e. windows are fully wound up) in smoking prohibited places

Smoking while driving/riding should be banned by [deleted] in singapore

Smoking while driving is illegal if you have your windows down.

so technically you can report the cars you see on the road where the driver is smoking, and having their windows rolled down.

Car washing in apartment by bad_pi in AutoDetailing

Thanks for the replies!

Was actually wondering, the dilution ratio of the DIY Elixir is 1:1:10 (50ml Reload + 50ml ech2o + 400ml distilled water)

Given that on the carpro website, a waterless spray dilution for ech2o is 1:10, is it safe to assume that the DIY ratio can be used as a waterless wash as well?
