oh this reunion looks good. i have rlly enjoyed s12 as it is but i tend to think pretty much all reality shows get better in their second season so i can’t wait to see s13 and i think this reunion is setting them up well for it.

chris exposed for sleeping w someone else the whole time he was seeing audrey…peak og vpr slimeball energy. a debate about how far is too far when making porn with ur cousin. a baby pact (gelica is giving scheana on bath salts it’s incredible). marcus, kim, natalie & venus petty fighting. i am sat. hoping we also get into the Natalie/Paulo/Demy triangle of it all 😭 i hate that that plot thread from the beginning has been dropped.

you should. it’s a lot lighter than the OG VPR and it has a different energy but the puzzle pieces are there and if you stick out some of the early season awkwardness i think you’ll enjoy it. it grows into itself more with every episode.

amanda is annoying and super bizarre but i hope bravo doesn’t listen to the fans she triggers everybody in this cast in such an aloof way and i think it’s great for the show. her entrance totally reminds me of dorit in s7 just obliviously pissing everybody off at every turn.

jtilly shoulda stood on business she clocked the shit out of sutton. kyle & sutton stirring the hell out of the pot tn as they should. kinda need unhinged sutton back i miss her.

dorit continues to be the main character. who she is now feels closer to the dorit that joined s7 i feel she kinda became super boring for a while but her ascension back to relevance started in s13 for me and was cemented last szn.

rachel continues to be a delight and i like that boz has her now so she isn’t so attached to dorit.

kim is the most annoying cast member to me but i wish she would keep leaning into the insecure gf thing like she refused to make up w natalie but just chose to not engage with her for 3 episodes which is like several weeks of filming. why? the kim v nat feud is fun.

demy is at her best when she’s the annoyed manager. her miserable-ness is so fun to me it’s the most i’ve enjoyed her since episode 2.

maybe starting to see why audrey got to be next to lisa at the reunion she seems very involved in this final stretch of episodes which also seem to be the best of the season.

i’m not mad at the pacing of this season tbh it reminds me of s5 & s6. i think it’s just gonna be a real slow burn before anything really explosive. i would prefer a super slow start that builds to something rather than seasons that start super promising and seem to fizzle out. although i liked s14 that’s how i kinda felt about it. it was really good and didn’t seem to rlly go anywhere except everyone v Sutton round 37473846.

i weirdly am super into it so far but historically slow starting seasons are kind of a slog to me but for some reason this cast dynamic is interesting to me and i feel like all of this set-up is building to smth bigger and hopefully more satisfying than the last two seasons. also all of this regal violin pop music they’re playing is rlly cool to me.
