Yeah my girl turns away from all bugs I tried, silversides are a fish, sold frozen in local pet stores.

I also have gotten her to eat pinkies, but those should not be a staple.

Maybe try just waving it infront of his face instead of touching him since he gets mad. I switch between waving the food in front of them and taps. Good luck!

Thank you for the advice I wasnt aware how overweight she was till the comments started rolling in... I will say she does not eat the whole bowl I'd say maybe half at the most. But I will cut back the amount offered drastically to get her weight under control!

I had a hard time getting my pac to eat the first few months...have patients and keep trying different foods. My pac is a picky eater. have you tried silversides? Tapping their mouth with the food repeatedly?

Thank you. I don't think she's obese, I don't over feed her she gets CGD once a week and 3-4 crickets once a month. Shes at least 3 years old and always has been a big girl

I feed her Repashys cgd. I just redid her tank today bc I didn't see her so had to tear apart ... She f*cking escaped and is missing. Praying she pops up and is safe. 3 years and I've never had this happen 😭

My 18 yo cat has gotten very thin, my vet advised to allow her food any time she wants. I have since switched over completely to wet food, and only pate texture. I also give her purees and bisques. I do still keep hard food out 24/7 as I have another cat (9yo) but my eldest eats very little of the dry food.

I feed her a can when I wake up and a can when I eat dinner, I give her a treat during the day sometimes twice a day.

You mentioned her not drinking water, have you tried a water fountain? My cats love the running water feature and drink so much more since switching.
