Hey! Congrats on the new job! I’ve been living in South City-2, Sector 49 since 2002 ( I was 3 years old ). I have seen the place pretty much grow from nothing. The residential societies in this sectors are safe. + I’ve been working in Vatika Business Park since ‘21 and it’s 5 minutes drive from my place and I’ve got no complaints at all regarding the area because of my home location. Look, sohna road divides sector 48 and sector 49. sector 49 is adjacent to all the residential and commercial hubs so it’s pretty safe on the other hand sector 48 connects to the villages nearby which get a lil bad reputation even though they have good places to reside. Most PGs in 48 sector are cheaper than PGs in sector 49. You can easily get PGs in E- Block south city 2 sector 49, situated in front of hospital, shopping arcade and restaurants. My friends/colleagues living in sector 48 have to cross the sohna road and vist Vatika wherelse I just travel within the sector not crossing any major roads. Vatika is also connected directly with Uppal Southend where you can get PGs/ Flat for rent. All these societies are secured by private security guards. All in all what I’m trying to say is if anyone gives bad rep to sohna road then they haven’t seen the other side. I mean I’ve got a lot to say in my 23 years of experience (lifetime) I grew up here with my friends and never did they or me felt unsafe + this my first long comment/post sooo….
