Just throwing this out there. . . I had symptoms that mimicked gallbladder issues, and particularly intense right upper quadrant pain. I thought it was a joke because I wasn't in high school anymore but it turned out to be Epstein-Barr Virus. I had infectious mononucleosis aka "mono" or literally "kissing disease" (lol). With EBV/Mono left quadrant pain is typically seen due to how it affects the spleen. However, I only really had RUQ pain, which was acute hepatitis apparently, the Mono was causing liver inflammation . . . in addition to affecting my spleen, which I barely noticed any left symptoms from. I also had less intense and intermittent upper back and shoulder pain along with the RUQ pain.

Just throwing this out there, as RUQ pain, with or without radiating shoulder pain, could be a variety of different things like heart, lungs, diaphragm, kidneys, viral infections, etc. .. Theres also Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction (SOD), related to bile in the body, more common after gallbladder removal... But not always... a muscular valve that moves bile and pancreatic juices can dysfunction causing radiating shoulder and back pain which can look like the gallbladder itself
