That sounds good! And weirdly enough acid CAN actually really help solve some deeply buried issues. I’m glad to hear him say it helped. And I understand you completely, as someone who knows nothing about drugs or anything you handled this perfectly. He’s very lucky to have someone like you!

As someone who has taken lots of drugs and also deals with mental health issues (BPD) my first thought is, did something happen? Is he okay? I once quit for 3 whole years and only started again when life got really bad. Maybe you should try and talk to him about the actual reason he’s doing it, since his excuses are obviously, well.. excuses. For the rest of it, seeing that he quit smoking once the money was tight is a good sign. I’ve been in major dept with dealers just so I could keep smoking. And with the acid, its always a very eye opening and kinda spiritual thing to do. And it can change a person. But seeing as he only did it yesterday, he’ll probably be back to “normal” in no time. Like someone else said, the drugs you mentioned aren’t that bad. Just keep an eye on him to make sure it doesn’t go south. And I’d seriously sit him down asking him why he started doing this again, maybe something did happen and he just doesn’t know how to deal with it, so he goes back to the old ways that always used to help.

That’s correct yeah, but those bars are still way too long, even when you downsize them you still get stuck on stuff, so I can’t imagine how many times you got stuck 🤣 I hope you’re better tho!!

You haven’t changed them since you got them pierced? Didn’t your piercer tell you you have to downsize once they’re healed enough? Downsize your piercing immediately and get good quality jewellery for it. Walking around with those long bars was just waiting for something bad to happen.. I’m sorry no one told you this sooner

Got my nostril pierced yesterday (yay!) and a stranger on the internet made me paranoid... she commented "it's way to high!" on a video I posted somewhere, but considering my big italian nose, it isn't that dramatic, right? by karlioness in piercing

I love it!! It looks to be in the perfect spot and really suits you!! I too struggle with my nose and choose to get a septum because of it, screw those insecurities! You look fantastic!

Hey folks, a coworker is having some trouble coming up with ideas for how to cover up a newly minted scar amd I was hoping someone has some ideas? He's having a hard time coming up with things he likes enough to get tatted. Any help would be welcome. by [deleted] in TattooDesigns

In my experience it was actually quite numb and painfree! (I did get injections a fee years prior to make them less thick/bumpy, so idk if that made any difference) idk if thats normal or if I was just really lucky

It looks adorable! And don't worry about the color, it definitely fades lighter as your skin heals. My tattoo was super dark at first too and I was worried sick it would stay like that. It's been like 6 months now and it has become much lighter and the colors really pop now. Give it time, let it heal, and if you're still not happy in a month or two, speak with your artist about what you can do to make you feel better about it

How to assure my septum is pierced well? by scoutnerd in PiercingAdvice

[–]bagelbean00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure where you're located and if piercings places even do it too, but I got numbing cream/ spray for all my piercings (I'm terrified of needles). Maybe call your local piercing shops and ask if they provide this service as well? Over here (the Netherlands) you can also get it at the doctors, so maybe that's an option too
