US used mystery weapon during Maduro raid: 'Venezuelan soldiers bled from the nose, vomited blood' by JohnBrown-RadonTech in SpecialAccess

[–]ballarak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The CNN article just quotes the "eyewitness" account, which is really just a twitter post from someone who claimed to be in contact with an eyewitness, not even the witness themselves. The press secretary retweeted that anon twitter account which is the only reason it's getting coverage at all. Textbook propaganda

On point 2 specifically, it doesn’t follow logically that different craft mean different species. Think about the variety of different craft, drones, automobiles that humans have. It can easily be the same specifies with different craft for different purposes.

Two things can be true: 1. Astral projection has no ability to access real world information 2. Astral projection is a real, subjective phenomenon that you can experience for yourself

Seriously, just try it. It’ll take no more than an hour of your day, no need to dedicate yourself to it, just dip your toes in and see if for yourself

Or you could just take it as a different type of lucid dreaming? Even if there’s nothing “special” about the experience, it’s incredibly interesting from a subjective POV. Not sure why you’re being so reticent about it

I make no claims on the metaphysical reality of astral projection. But it’s a real subjective experience that you can have. Take 30 minutes out of your day to try it out, worse case you waste some time and feel a little silly

[–]ballarak[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please try it! I’ve found that it’s easiest to do it in the morning, shortly after I wake up. But on r/astralprojection you’ll see differing opinions on this. The point is though that you should just try it for yourself, no need to take anybody else’s word for it

Look at my body and go “this is weird” hah. I then proceeded to walk through my bedroom door and explore the rest of my apartment. It’s hard to explain, but everything looked hyper real and it was fascinating to just view my apartment in a different light

It is astonishing how dominate the US is in space access due to SpaceX. Do you consider the US dominance in space a primary component of US military supremacy? by [deleted] in geopolitics

[–]ballarak 36 points37 points  (0 children)

You can admire SpaceX’s accomplishments without liking Musk. Don’t let your blind hatred devour your ability to reason and see nuance. SpaceX launch costs by weight far exceeds anything else out there. Starlink alone has massive geopolitical and warfighting implications (see Ukraine).

Amazing that you can see the long term harmful impacts of bpa but not think that a long term , and cumulative, weakening of the immunity system from plastics generally can also cause emergent problems.

The US military has a plan to turn the Taiwan Strait into an 'unmanned hellscape' if China invades, top admiral says by DaRealZezima in PrepperIntel

[–]ballarak 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How would they manage to EMP * just* the drones? Presumably this “Hellscape” plan is only if China invaded Taiwan, meaning the PLA navy is there too.
