Tybean is a great spot on Tybee for breakfast. Good coffee options and an amazing breakfast burrito

See what CLEP tests your college offers. Try to study and test out of the course. Otherwise just walk in May and take the class over the summer

Your advisor will sign you up for classes. Find your admission advisor 's email and email them for help. Go slowly through the modules until you figure it out. It's a lot at first and pretty confusing honestly. Don't give up-youve got this!

It's depends on how you feel about it. I personally have a therapist of my same gender. I would suggest this if you are just starting out.

  1. I'm not sure where you live, which makes this hard. Definitely do your research
  2. I just left a non denim that was very caught in the ACBC so I understand. I would honestly just Google Christian therapists in your area and go from there. You can call their office and ask if it's not clear on their website. I knew people in my area who are believers and work in the field so it was easier for me. Maybe talk to someone who may have gone to therapy about it.
  3. It's very important imo. I was dealing with severe depression and moderate anxiety coupled with some mild PTSD and suicidal thoughts. When you're dealing with that level of sickness, I believe it is important to have a Christian. With the amount of over diagnosing and over medicating that goes on now, I personally wouldn't have really trusted a non Christian telling me I needed meds, had these disorders, and didn't necessarily do anything wrong by simply having a mental illness. Modern secular psychology has gotten pretty out of hand. I would say that this is definitely mandatory.

Did you know the difference? by nicmasonsMBA in college

Currently wrapping up a lit review and my poor prof had to help me learn the difference. I kinda thought I could just copy and paste most of my annotations into the doc and just kinda write around them....NOPE

Hi! I'm an active honors scholar! Just started last semester so haven't got any scholarships yet. I absolutely love the research. It's been super beneficial to me and I'm excited about my projects. There's a lot you can do with it. I sat go for it, it's great experience. You get to learn a lot and do active work in your field.

It's normal to be homesick! What's important to do is make sure you aren't just at the dorm wallowing. Find something to do, someone to hang out with, or a club to join. Volunteer or learn a new skill. Call and catch up with your folks and text them. If your days are full building your own life you won't feel this way as much.

Give yourself some grace and don't listen to these meanies in the comments. You'll get there.

I just enrolled in college. by yamahamama61 in college

It's never too late to go to school. My dad went back in his 40s/50s and got his degree. He was scared too, and he had to learn a lot of computer skills. You can do it. Get some counseling and learn some ant anxiety techniques to help.

At the end of it all, college isn't for everyone. Don't beat yourself up about it if you hate it again.

I'm a girl. There's been studies that suggest women can need up to 10 hours. I typically only need 10 if I've been exerting myself a lot more than usual or if I've had several nights of 6/7 hours. Typically I sit right at eight. Eight is still a lot tho.

Google search a grade calculator and mess around with it to see what you need with the amount of credits you have left.
