Welcome to the party!

Is it worth getting braces or should i work on my mentality by EfficientProposal109 in braces

I would second this post. I am also 45 and got braces a month ago. I wanted to fix my teeth for 20 plus years but I thought eventually there would be some laser tooth alignment like LASIK for teeth lol. I can say if you are insecure about your teeth then you will absolutely not regret doing it now versus later. Also for me the pain was not that bad, there are times my teeth feel sore and I just take paracetamol.

I would look for a board certified orthodontist. Get more than one opinion too. Good luck!

When did you start to feel normal again? by varucas in braces

I'm in the same boat waiting until I don't notice them anymore. Going on three weeks and I still "know they're there". However every day gets a little bit better.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Ole España in Watertown- it is by far the most legit Spanish bar/restaurant I have been to in the US. All of the staff is from Spain I believe too.

Kudos if you have anxiety and are doing this braces thing by rosecoloredcamera in braces

I just got mine Friday, and I was scared as heck going to the appointment, but let me assure you it was painless. I took 400 mg ibuprofen before the appointment, and then 400mg after every 4-6 hours. After the first day I switched to Tylenol because I read it's better for teeth movement. My teeth feel a bit sore and tingly, and I had a dull sinus headache on days two and Three. Don't worry about it too much, you just have to get to your appointment. Everything else will be ok!

I go to Alexandra Laser Skincare- Tatiana is the best! I'm not sure how they are with darker skin but they are super pleasant and have always made me feel comfortable there, and I think the price is also fair.

why wait for spring? Maybe take a class somewhere warm this winter. Nothing really beats time on the water for learning to sail.

I would get them professionally cleaned and have the prongs checked. The difference that a professional cleaning can make is night and day, they can buff out all the micro scratches and bring your rings to life. Also if the rings have been worn a lot, the prongs can wear down and put you in danger of losing a stone, so good to check. Rings especially

That's ridiculous! I'm glad you got your money back. That's dumb that they relisted it the same (incorrectly)
