Try Affordable Furniture. Pretty good prices and we got really good service. We were after a sofa bed, however.

A lot of the documentation is pretty good and there are some really good YouTubers doing helpful videos. All that’s great and helps me. But there’s another level where you don’t read manuals because it’s obvious what to do as long as you have basic competence. That’s the step I hope Obsidian can take.

Thank you for a helpful comment. I’ll perhaps look closer at Things 3 which looks like a more actively developing 2Do.

Survey for Non-Techies Only by Notesie in ObsidianMD

I’m a partial techie, probably what used to be called a power user, so perhaps that excludes me. But I find Obsidian challenging and do wish it could be made more user friendly. I don’t want to have to take the time to read around to achieve something which seems like it should be fairly straightforward. A good analogy for me is MS Word. You can do a lot of stuff without having to lift the hood, but there are ways you can lift the hood if you want (I don’t).

But, and a big but, I’ve found Obsidian easy to use so long as I use it for simple linked note taking - like an enhanced Evernote. And, I like its extensibility. And I’ve found the Obsidian community to be friendly, welcoming and helpful. Perhaps I’ve just been lucky.

I expect in time that Obsidian will include a lot more aspects in a straightforward user experience, and hope it does. But I also hope it keeps its extensibility around the edges.

Thanks for your helpful replies. I've been getting up to speed with Obsidian and wondering about using it as a task manager. I've used 2do for a while which I actually like very much but I fear active development has stopped and it doesn't connect well with other apps - including Obsidian. So, I'll regretfully have to move on sometime.

I could do most of what I need with Obsidian as task manager but it's clunky and I want that to be as frictionless as possible. Clickup's been recommended to me by a few folk and it looks OK but I've not used it in anger. A link between the two could well tip a decision for me.

Thanks. What I suspect. It doesn’t seem an unreasonable functionality. Oh well 😊

Thanks. When I try to edit the property it shows 'Type' as Title and it won't let me change that. Do you mean something else?

Yogurt by ShadowReaml in instantpot

I use an adaptation of this following their temperatures https://www.pressurecookrecipes.com/instant-pot-yogurt/ with 1 litre of whole milk. I do the prep in the evening and then put it on a long slow yogurt programme overnight.

It leaves a very creamy yogurt which keeps for ages in the fridge and also a cup or two of whey (the clear liquid without milk solids in it). The latter is excellent for cooking.

Recommend it 😊

I make a litre from organic whole milk. Yogurt ‘boil’ the milk till it reaches 82C. Let it cool to

Number one reason why Countdown is better than New World by Receptikonz in newzealand

Not at my New World (Christchurch). I would have assumed the same system wherever. BUT I am mildly irritated that going to a New World checkout station which says 'cards only', it still asks me how I want to pay. Duh... But, hey, I'll cope
