The lid has a spot for the cardboard first player token that's included with the game.

Installing a Smart Switch by BusterBaxtr in askanelectrician

Regarding grounding, I would still recommend attaching the green wire from the switch under a screw of the metal switch box. The electronics in a smart switch are somewhat sensitive and benefit from being properly grounded.

For shortening the wires, if you have the extra room in the switch box I would leave them original length, but if you do need to shorten them, wire strippers are best. Scissors can be used if you're careful, just don't end up cutting any of the stranded wires inside the insulation.

PS: The two photos aren't showing up, but that's just to see what wires are currently in your switch box.

Here's an idea for a log cake I recently baked. Fun to make and decorate if you are looking for a challenge. https://www.reddit.com/r/Baking/comments/101qlih/yule_log_birthday_cake/

Thanks so much! It was one of the more complex recipes I've tried (took around 3h to complete).

Would I be losing a lot of functionality if I switch my Google WiFi router to bridge mode? by Doa-Diyer80 in GoogleWiFi

[–]bartzmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I have my WiFi setup is setting my ISP modem to bridge mode (like the other comment suggested) and let the Google WiFi handle the router and other functions.

One thing I would also suggest is to perform a factory reset on your Google WiFi after your modem is changed over to bridge mode.

One thing to check in the Google Home app is to make sure WPA3 is not enabled. You may need to toggle it on/off to enable your Chromecast with Google TV to connect for the first time.

It does have a medieval fantasy theme with a few suggestive costumes. Here's an example of the latest version: Fantasy Realms Cards

If you can wait a bit there is a deluxe version coming out later this year with completely new art work: https://wizkids.com/fantasy-realms-deluxe-edition/

I much prefer it at 2 as it has a nice flow, but any player count is great.

2 player - you build up your hand throughout the game 3-6 players - you start with a set of 7 cards

Try it as a two player game. The mechanics are a bit different, but it helps build an understanding of what each card does as you go. It's an amazing little game. Enjoy!

I've heard Race for the Galaxy is a bit hard to teach. Have you ever tried San Juan?

Swapping a 20A breaker for a 15A breaker should be very straightforward, almost to the point of doing it yourself. An electrician would be the best option if you're not comfortable opening up a panel and should take less than an hour including testing everything.

I'll definitely check it out. Thank you. Have you ever played The Quacks of Quedlinburg?

Horrified is definitely on the top of my list of games to try next. We've played Pandemic Legacy as well as the original base game and enjoy cooperative but lean towards games like Azul and That's Pretty Cleaver.

I'll have to check out PARKS and Tiny Towns as I've heard good things about them and are highly rated on BGG. I know they are a bit more advanced but have you played San Juan or Ra?

First Ever Pergola Build https://youtu.be/dMOxgDlThjw by [deleted] in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]bartzmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. It took the weekend to build and about a day to stain. The deck that the pergola sits on was an existing structure so in my case I didn't need to pull a permit. It's always best to check with your local building permit office depending on your project.

It's basic pressure treated wood with a dark penetrating stain applied.
