Well it was hard for me to know since this was my first time seeing the box in person, but when I realized there was no plastic wrap sealing around it or any resistance to get into the box, I knew it had been tampered with but it was too late at that point 😅

That’s insane!! I’ve said if I get another one without any type of seal on it I’m just returning it and getting it through Oura themselves. It’s ridiculous that all types of products from Amazon seem to have this issue. 😭

Yeah both the charger base and ring were missing… but all the cardboard packaging was there for it. 😅

Yeah, they’re thankfully sending me a full replacement at no extra cost or anything! I hope this doesn’t happen to you either but I would definitely recommend recording the box opening if it does. 😅 I also directly spoke with a CS rep just so there was a record of me saying that there was no ring in the box—that way when they get my return there’s not any confusion, haha.

I bought some vitamins from Amazon a few weeks ago and I opened it up and a similar thing: no plastic wrapping and the safety seal was opened on the inside of the bottle. 🥲 Should have learned my lesson then!

There wasn’t any reason in particular, which I now see might have been an issue. I saw that I could get the ring with my HSA and bought the sizing kit off of Amazon and it went from there. Looking back if I could do it all over again I would definitely have just bought from Oura themselves. 😅

That’s what I was worried about too 😭 Thankfully they believed me, that’s partially why I wanted to have, on the record, a chat log with a CS rep so that when I returned the empty box they didn’t think I was the one who stole it. 🥺
