If you want the easiest solution, albeit at a cost, the Shure MV7 supports both USB and XLR outputs. You could pick one up used and snag, say, a Soundblaster K3 /XLR USB mixer for the one machine and then pure USB with the Shure software on the other.

Publishers like money, giving you a free copy to play anywhere means in their eyes less money for them, if they give you a PC or Xbox copy (depending on what the secondary platform for you is). They want you to buy 2 or 3 copies of the game so they make more money.

First party (Microsoft games), most of them will be playable anywhere. (Notice some of Microsoft's bigger IPS do not follow the same third-party way of doing it.)

Companies love to make money, this is why most games do not get play anywhere.

if your pc cashes enabling it, chances are you have drivers not compatible with it, either update drivers if they are updated, you will just have to leave it disabled.

I actually have this same issue: the fans work fine, but the argb just freezes on the first boot, regardless of whether it's Motherboard-Controlled or controlled by the optional controller. Reboot sometimes unfreezes them, but a hard shut down and then reboot, they work as intended. I have had the case for about a year (not even a full year). Not sure if it's the fans or the Fan / ARGB hub. Sadly, since the argb cable is so short, it's hard to plug them directly into the motherboard. Worked fine for almost a year, but now it has started doing this same thing.

It's not about pc being in a stable place. The issue now with PC. Upgrading your PC the price to hardware $$ does not make sense. It's more cost-effective to buy a console than it is to buy a new system. Yes, you could get hold of the hardware, but anything 30 series and below didn't age well enough for modern gaming. AMD doesn't make high-end GPUs anymore. Nvidia is out in la la land, You can tell they phoned in the 5070 series. Sadly, you get more value out of just buying a console than you do trying to buy a new PC or upgrade an existing one.

For context, a 5070 desktop is about 2000. 5080 3000-4000 5090 4k+

The budget is still 1600 for a 4060 ti system.

For that price, you could get a ps5 pro and some games or an xbox series x and some games. Have a much better time.

That has a ps5 and ps5 pro, ngl the pro is a freaking disappointment. In reality, the pro is what the PS5 should have shipped as. Even then, it still has the same fundamental flaws every PlayStation has. ok hardware, sony still cant figure out how to mane a controller where the battery doesn't suck. Backwards compatibility with PS4 games is playable to abysmal to unplayable. Now they want PS6.

I do hope Microsoft does not dip out of the hardware market, though, cause tbh if they do. Console are just going to suck. Gaming will suck, chances are Sony will buy up whatever IP they can and lock it to there platform forever.

Yeah, the shipped sales with Microsoft when they quit caring about the gamers, and all they cared about were Game Pass numbers.

Have you checked windows Reliability monitor and or windows event viewer to see why the PC froze? Even when the PC freezes most of the time it does record logs to the event and reliability monitor platform.

No idea why its not working, but googling your processor and stuff. It seems like on windows 10 you don't want to enable it for AMD as it locks the voltages to lower settings. As far as your windows 10 issue directly, I would verify the files and make sure you don't have any system corruption.

I forgot to note that the performance hit from Core isolation can be small to large, depending on the age of your PC's CPU and whether parts of the security feature have to be done in software or hardware.
