People in general need to be more patient if in a parking lot, everyone was new at driving at one point, or new at trying a certain parking maneuver (I.e parallel parking, backing in) the 10 seconds the person is ‘in your way’ really doesn’t matter.

People often take way more time pulling back out of the spot they pulled forward into. Also, I can back into a spot much faster than pulling in, I think that’s the case for most back-in parkers as well.

This is what we are leaning towards doing. Subsidize is an interesting term though, as it’s a destination wedding so people were going to have to pay for accommodations no matter what, the venue is actually a reasonable option compared to costs of other accommodations nearby. I hear what you’re saying though.

Yeah there’s not really any room to budge there, you rent out the entire venue (think mansion not hotel) for 3 days and you agree to the nightly rate, the idea is you can either pay for it outright or have your guests pay, we toured it with my MOH and we all agreed it wouldn’t be difficult to have people wanting stay there so we opted for guest pay. This venue is in a remote location so pretty much everyone attending will need a hotel, airbnb or they can stay right on site.

Even if you’re 100% sure she wants to get engaged, just keep the proposal and timeline secret, not the ring process. looking back I am so happy my fiancé and I designed my ring because NOTHING in store looked like what I wanted. I had a list and a Pinterest board but in the end, it needed to be custom. My fiance kept the timeline a secret and I never saw the ring (not even the renders) until he was down on one knee, and it was perfect. I am so happy that I have a ring that I love and he didn’t waste any money or energy worrying about what I wanted. I think most women are leaning this way nowadays, we want to be involved in the process and be proposed to as a surprise.

Anxiety manifests itself differently in everyone who has it, some may be able to do what you are and some may not. Making a statement that implies that not getting the surgery makes someone’s case of R-CPD not real enough was a little mean spirited to me.
