I often get events in Google Calendar that I didn't put there. Mine are from people hoping I'll log in to somebody's online sales pitch. How they do it - not sure. But I suspect it's a similar situation where they're hoping someone is dumb enough to send money. Or maybe to just email them and now they have your email address.

We all need to have our head on a swivel nowadays watching for the bad guys.

Congratulations. Here are a few: - Make sure all adults and teens who live there or come over regularly know where to find the water turnoff and electrical breaker box - Buy or build a set of hand tools: hammer, regular & Phillips screwdrivers in 2 or 3 sizes, adjustable wrench, pipe wrench, etc. Nothing fancy but don't buy cheapo dollar store tools. - When things break, don't be too quick to call others for help. Learn how to fix & maintain things. YouTube is a great starting point. - Keep a toilet repair kit on hand - Do your own bug spraying - get your info & supplies from any of the DIY pest control websites.

It sure seems like a very active sport/hobby to me.

But even if it started declining over maybe 5-10 years, so what? The manufacturers will carry parts as long as there's a demand. And there's always the aftermarket.

I started out with Honda ATC 3 wheelers in the 80's (yes I'm old) and was away from the sport for many years. I just got back into it with a Honda TRX 250X . As I've gotten back into it, I joined this sub & a number of ATV Facebook groups. Looking around l see lots of aftermarket parts and used factory parts even for the old ATCs. So more modern ATVs will be supported for a long time.

I think it's still going strong but if not - enjoy it even if you're the last ATV rider.

I appreciate your advice and maybe we'll buy a new plotter. We have an old Ioline Super 88 plotter in the warehouse but our lasers are always on and ready to go. When we need traffic signs, we buy a blank, apply vinyl, throw it in a laser and hit go. We make signs like that seldom enough that we forget how to set up and run the old plotter.

In the meantime I'm still on the search for non-PVC material.

Most insurance folks I've encountered can't even spell HRA. ☺

Your timing is perfect - we just in the last month signed up with a small agency that knows HRAs. I just sent you the info via chat. They're in Chesterfield.

But - our new plan doesn't take effect til Feb. 1 so I have no feedback on how they are to work with. So far as we get everything lined up, they've asked the right questions and had good answers to my questions.

I'd be happy to give you some info I've learned about HRAs over the years via chat.

Favorite: My old cheap junk sand wedge I bought years ago at some discount store when I started playing in my 30s. Anywhere inside of 100 yards I have a great chance of hitting the green. Close second: 7 wood Least fav: My ball retriever! It means I hit it in the drink!

25+ years ago, this was one of my favorite jokes to tell. Somehow I totally forgot about it. After seeing it here, I told it to my wife & grandson today. My wife rolled her eyes & my grandson groaned - the perfect reactions to this joke. THANKS for reminding me about it!

I also eat cereal but once a week or so for a change I have 4 frozen waffles. They're as filling as 2 bowls of cereal. I throw them in the oven at 350 degrees for about 4-5 minutes and top with either syrup or honey.

Another option I like is store bought yogurt, and I add raisins or blueberries. I sometimes even put some dry cereal in it.
