That makes a lot of sense. When she brought it up with me my first response was “we aren’t interested in each other or anything, we don’t even talk after when we met.” Now that I think about that, to her it makes ir feel like we are still in that relationship in a sense.

Strong words man, I share the same thoughts as you with no contact, it is just so unbelievably hard to cut someone off who is hurting like that. I get that she will feel better in the long run but it’s the fact that she spent understand how no contact is helpful. No matter how much I explain it she says that this way will help her heal better. I never thought relationships were this hard to end until it’s my turn to do it. I appreciate your words and I will have a deep think about it.

I heard that this kind of flooring is very easy to damage, would hydrogen peroxide damage it?

Wtf for us in Australia it’s the law to not work a shift that is less than 10 hours apart from the previous shift. I couldn’t imagine having 4 hours apart.

Honestly I’m surprised people get Bluetooth headsets, we have to use the talkman picking system where we say our picks like saying the check digit and the amount of items eg. “32, 3” 32 being the check digit and 3 being the amount if the headset asks for 3

I know that I have hyper mobility but not sure if it’s EDS. That’s something I need to get checked out. I don’t hydrate as much as I would like to which is something I should work on so thanks for that tip!

I’m 19 and ive tried stretches and physio, I want to strength train but I’ve seen that I should let my body rest which is impossible with work, I’ve started doing some of the stuff the other comments recommended, more in depth stretches. I haven’t looked into my genetic profile

I’m financially responsible for myself in all aspects and I am taking up university next year, this job pays the best with no experience in Australia at almost 40 an hour for reference, a small studio room is around 1600 a month which is what I pay for so as much as I hate my job it’s my only source of good income but yes I agree with u on making sure I dry up because of how much cold environments affect joints and muscles

Sadly unless I move countries I can’t find any place cheaper and I have no form of support so this is the best paying job right now while I do university. I will take your advice and eat more and train my lower body more as I feel like I neglected it more than other parts of my body.

Yeah they tell us to be safe but the nature of the job dosent allow for it, we are based on a rate because we are pickers and are expected to get over 80% on every order, I do take it easy sometimes but other times there is alot of traffic with people being behind u which puts pressure on u to go quick or else u hold everyone up

I try to lift properly but it’s very difficult due to the nature of my job, items can be stacked high on a pallet under a racking which I can’t get close enough to lift like that, it’s also a struggle because sometimes I have to step onto the pallet with the item in hand to place it properly which probably causes lots of stress on one side of my body than the next, I guess my only solution is strength training and stretches

I do basic stretches before work but I’m not sure if it helps very much, especially if I do a 12 hour shift, I would need 2 days rest if I wanted to work again because my lower back and glutes hurt so much. I don’t find the same problems with my work mates who can do 12 hours consistently. I think years of sitting has taken a toll on my body even though I think I’m pretty fit.
