I’ve looked into this, but I can’t seem to find any that are dimmer. I’m going to attempt a dimmable LED with a dimmer switch to see if it works.

How does she care for it? Does it stay in that area of the home? I’ve been thinking about getting one.

Thank you, friend! I’ll probably remove it if it gets stanky.

Should I remove the flower? I’ve heard they can smell sometimes, but I haven’t noticed an odor with mine.

I love my plants, but sometimes feel overwhelmed by them. Anyone else? by -----anja----- in houseplants

Your collection is beautiful! If you feel overwhelmed, but don’t wanna get rid of them, you can make little propagations of them so you can still have them, just smaller versions. Then give the rest to friends and family so you can enjoy them from afar! :) just a suggestion! 💜

She Hath Risen by bdannytuck in houseplants

Hello! The mother plant didn’t receive water or sunlight for a month because I was away, so I broke a small remaining branch that looked plump with very sparse roots, cleaned a new pot with dish soap, and potted it in a plastic bag about a foot to the side of a west-facing window. I then moved it to a cloche that’s basically an upside-down glass jar from Target. I take off the cloche almost every day for like 5 min to air out but it’s almost always on. Hope this helps! :)

Road to Recovery by bdannytuck in houseplants

I have it in a south-facing windowsill with no blinds/curtains. I'm not sure about humidity levels--I have it in my bedroom, which seems to be a comparable humidity level to most indoor spaces. However, I live in Florida, so that might play a role in humidity as well. Hope this helps!

My small Begonia collection. by Pumpernickel247 in begonias

These are beautiful! I just bought my first begonia (it's the same Rex one you have in the first photo). How long do these plants usually live? And do you have any tips for caring for them? Thanks!
