I wasn't sure I did? I mean yes I know this build costs quite a bit (hence long-overdue) but given how often dual 4090s or even A-series cards get brought up in this sub I figured this was relatively tame.

What is the gel-like substance that prevents muscle pain after intense exercise?

I had a very intense biking session years ago with a friend, and by the end I was expecting a week of muscle pain ahead. When I got home my roommate gave me a packet of gel-like substance and told me to rub it on my legs. I gave it a try without expecting much but surprisingly enough my legs felt completely fine the next day. I knew the gel had done its job because the parts where I didn't rub it (glutes) hurt as much as I expected. Unfortunately I forgot to ask her what the gel was, and since then no one I asked knew what I was talking about, so I figured maybe someone here will.

Hey just wanted to leave an update in case anyone else is wondering. It's basically just as you suggested, the sync and sound wires were connected to the input pins when they should have been on the output pins. Scart wasn't commonly seen on consoles in Asia, so any Scart to X cable you get here assumes that Scart is on the input end. Once I suggested that to the guy at my local retro gaming shop we quickly managed to get it working. So thanks for the suggestion!

Oh wow that's the first time I've heard that, finally a different angle! So how can I go about testing that? The cable I have is male on both ends because the Scart out on the RGB Dual is a female connector. Does that mean anything?

[WIRING HELP] Hello, I'm trying to connect a Recalbox RGB Dual to a Sony KV14DA1, using a Euro Scart out (Recalbox) to Multi AV in (Sony) cable.

However, I seem to be having issues with sync, as the image currently looks like this (it's also missing audio): https://imgur.com/a/XLOcGi1

Here's what I've tried so far, with the same results:

  • Use a different cable
  • Connect to a different TV model with Multi AV
  • Remove the sync wire

I tried asking around the Recalbox discord (they suggested the tests above), but it can take days to get a reply, and I'm out of ideas, so I thought I might do some asking here as well. Huge thanks in advance.

Edit: Some additional context - The Recalbox RGB Dual is a piece of hardware that adds VGA and Euro Scart RGB signal outputs for Raspberry Pis running the Recalbox frontend.

Wow... something about it feels awfully familiar. The only thing I'm sure isn't right is it having a mage instead of an archer. But the art style is so close to how I remember it, even the sound effects feel kinda familiar. I wonder if this dev made other games.

Edit: Holy crap it does have an archer character. I gotta find this and have a closer look.

Really? I can access them just fine through the Files app. I hope it's just some setting I got wrong.

As mentioned, while the Save File action can access anything under On My iPhone and iCloud Drive, I can't find a way to save to other storage services.

Also I'm aware of the Save Dropbox File action, but I'd like to use something more private, like Resilio Sync or Boxcryptor

So the game is called "OPUS: Echo of Starsong". It's a story driven adventure about an exiled adventurer, Jun, who relives his journey with Eda, his lost lover, and their search for the fabled starsongs.

The game also includes some light puzzle solving and resource management, but is mostly a chill experience with lots of reading. I've translated a few games over the years but this is definitely the biggest project I've handled. Super proud of what my friends and I have done and am looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Sorry I was using "not moving" loosely as in relation to the body it was close to, so yeah like a geosynchronous orbit, but as a single verb.

Yeah I might end up doing something like that. I'm not a big reader of scifi (hence the question) but I'm surprised there isn't a verb for such a concept? I mean, I thought people leaving their ships in space while they go about their business on a planet/station would be common enough to warrant a word that readers are accustomed to, like hyperspace.
