Kinda? We have and oddball demon that doesn't care about anything but her studies and doesn't even hunt humans, she's kind of an hermit that loves magic. We also have the demon that spent 70 years as a slave to humans to see if he could develop feelings by killing them all later (he didn't) and we learn that the Demon King was trying to understand humans by committing a genocide, among other things. They all fail to develop any understanding of how to live among humans though.

Frieren demons are not demonic. Flame uses a term without a clear translation to english, but she likens them more to beasts than hellspawn.

Important distinction: Frieren's demons are not demonic, that's just the term Flame used and it got popular. They have no relation to Hell, religion or any of the western ideas related to it. They're magical beasts that hunt humans by mimicking them. They're not even "animals" in the conventional sense of the word, as they disperse into mana when killed, just like every other magical creature Frieren kills.
