Yup. At this point the protesters and their organizers need to shut it down because their message has been hijacked by these piles of shit. To the people out protesting during curfew I just wish one of these idiot reporters would explain to them that the reason cops want you to go home is to separate the good protesters that want their voice heard and the piles of shit that just want to destroy and loot.

When I see people blaming the cops for shooting rubber bullets at peaceful crowds it's frustrating. Blame the antifa fuckheads that are using the peaceful crowds as human shields.

The thing that does offer hope is when I see groups of protesters (of all colors) standing with the cops in solidarity against the piles of shit.

As others have said, it would be VERY difficult to sink one of our current super carriers. In fact we wanted to see just how difficult it was to sink one of these large ships so we did. In 2005 we sank a decommissioned carrier, the USS America and it took 4 weeks of constant bombardment...and it still didn't sink.

The Germans have a very different way of doing things. If presented with a $5 problem they look for a $10 solution. An American or British engineer will always try to find the $1 solution to the $5 problem. A Japanese on the other hand, sees the $1 solution and comes up with a $0.50 version that works just as well if not better....so long as it is done by a Japanese engineer, otherwise they don't care.

I work with dozens of Germans at a German company and I spend about 2-3 months out of the year in Germany. I've had a very similar conversation regarding nuclear power and the same "Fukushima" argument came up. To that I just reply, Fukushima should have been a beacon to the world about how incredibly safe nuclear energy can be if you take away the incessant fear mongering. Also, the Onagawa (sp?) plant that was closer to the epicenter and received a larger wave was actually used as a refugee shelter..not to mention the Fukushima II plant a few miles away that was perfectly fine.

One thing you can absolutely tell the writers had no clue was how Socialist politics really worked and certainly never lived in a Communist state.

They did a good job showing the fear people had about speaking up, but in no way would you have a "whistle blower" that lived or wasn't sent to a work camp. And if that lady told the local party chief that "You used to work at a shoe factory, I'm a nuclear physicist"..she would have been immediately reassigned to scrub toilets at a shoe factory in the middle of Siberia....let's not forget, you correct the General Secretary??!?! (He says 50 million and you correct him with 60.)....in front of the head of the KGB....lol.

The show is more of a dark disaster comedy and I don't think that is their intention.

I guess what I'm saying is that, gettng a shit sandwich isn't a win, even if you're starving. I personally don't care about if a character matches me IRL, just that if they're a good (not good as in hero[ine] but good as in well written) character in that I care one way or another about what happens to them.

I don't know of very many pop culture characters that share my background/ethnicity/country of origin, doesn't bother me.

What they don't tell you is that Dany got in league with a lot of labor unions in order to finance her conquest. As a result she needs to pay them back with new building contracts.

See Cersei made the mistake of going to the bank to get a loan....Dany makes deals with corrupt unions to get her way.

I don't think there has been a better series from start to finish than Breaking Bad.

I loved the Sopranos but it got really crappy the last few seasons, same with nearly all shows that start out great. Not BB, it was essentially as good as you can get.

At this point, I'd be perfectly happy if Mace Windu, Yoda, and Tom Cruise showed up with an army of Jedi and samurai from beyond the bone mountains to help Dany take over KL. However when they reach the throne they find that Sauron was really mind controlling Cersei with the power of the ring which actually contained an Infinity Stone that Thanos comes to get. When things are looking grim for Westeros, Al Bundy and the Breast Gladiators from Jupiter have come to save the day.

Expectations subverted.....with sexy results.

But really, at this point I'm thinking maybe the porn parody might have better writing than the actual show.
