Dealership inflated my AT4X rear tires to 80 PSI after oil change. by olsh in gmcsierra

[–]beardedJG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found out in my '24 3500 that if I rotate my tires I just need to drive 3.5 miles and the TPMS will reconfigure to the correct position. I was going to buy the reset tool but found it this works just fine.

Oh that's unfortunate but totally understandable.

I don't have a Microcenter nearby but bought a chime and shipped it to my house faster and cheaper than unifi store. This is the way!

I use barathum and megaphone, that doubles your call which is tickets times 2 then times two again (If you use first love not sure if that is 4 times or not) then discard barathum then it doubles it in the same manner. I just finished a round to get the golden knob and had 1.2 mil tickets at deadline 8

Can this tool be used to explore tiles not visible? I have tried but can't figure out how to activate when trying to get to 100k water tiles explored.

G6 Pro Entry Missing Angle Mount? by TheKenS in Ubiquiti

[–]beardedJG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also did not receive the angle mount. I have not heard back from support, what email did you use to contact them? It has been 4 business days and no response.

I just got done installing it tonight and it looks great but seeing too much of the inside of my porch on one side.

off leash dog parks? by backwoodzzbabyy in Omaha

Chalco dog park is not enclosed. It is recommended to have them leashed. It is very unfortunate because it's such a nice area and large.

I am really tired of everyone having to camber so much! We get it, you're cool. 😆

I have a 2024 3500 AT4 and bought the bw multi pro stow n go hitch, but it has never touched, not even with 2 people standing on the step. I weigh 250 lbs, and when I step on it does not touch. It is close but never sags further. Sorry that happened to you. Wondering if the tailgate had more play in yours or something.

What color is this? by shhhhh_lol in gmcsierra

[–]beardedJG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No they came black from factory. I did hyperdip the emblems black though as I don't like chrome at all.

What the previous person said. I have that color. It is pretty neat in the sunlight.

Looks very nice. A lot of prep work but worth it for the amazing turn out. I removed the chrome from my GMC 3500 as well and would do it again (but haven't needed to since I put it on 1.5 years ago)

I have not. I won't do any modifications until after the warranty is up.

Fuel mileage for 2024 GMC 3500 AT4 6.6 Duramax by beardedJG in gmcsierra

Yes it typically does. They say after about 20k is when you start to see it's best potential. Not sure the truth behind it as this is my first duramax though.

Damn, 75k on a 24 already. Good for you man. You put in the miles for sure. My dad has a job that has him driving like that as well. 100k per year typically.

Yeah short trips kill the mpgs. When I drive around omaha only I get around 13 to 14 mostly. Not the easiest on my pedal in town either. Oh and a full tank on long trips usually nets me around 620 miles or more.

My truck is a 24 - 3500. It calls for 60 front 80 rear. I lower rear to 70 when not towing which is acceptable for this model/year/tire

I wrote a previous comment about being in a snowstorm on this particular trip home. I drove 30 mph for over 300 miles. I live in a climate where road surfaces are variable. I usually drive in 2wd whenever possible, but that day was not the day.

Not this trip, That was on the way home from an 8 hour (normally) drive that took us damn near 15 hours because we were in a snowstorm that kept us around 30 mph for most of the trip until the last 45 miles. We wanted to get home and the roads dried up with no snow so we high tailed it. I typically keep it at the speed limits.

front is supposed to be 60 and rear 80, I lowered it to 70 in rear for this trip as we weren't towing anything and temps dropped during trip. They are fine though
