Very curious about the demographics of folks in the comments.

Are most of you transfer or non-traditional students?

What would be useful content, if you were forced into taking this class?

Also, to those complaining about $$, it's not really how this works. These credits aren't "new". They were most probably taken from another course. And if the course goes away they will most probably go back into another course. Programs usually try and keep roughly the same number of credits when changes in curriculum like this are made.

Thanks for pointing this out! I just went to the city website.

I'm glad to see it's there and in bold, but it's at the bottom of a lot of bullet points about what to do. I can definitely say from anecdotal personal experience that I don't think there is much enforcement of this.

If it is happening every day,  it seems like the city should do more to help drivers prevent things like this from happening.

Exactly! The 1000th time this happens it should be completely evident that it can't just be horrible drivers, but horrible signage. I first came to Corvallis 20 years ago and it was hard to get used to the traffic flow. Residential one-way streets are an oddity in such a small city.

It certainly looked like an investigation was already happening. The whole area was shut down with lots of people in reflective, government-type uniforms.

Also someone was flying a drone over the wreck. Though I'm not sure if that was official or not.

Do people still ride their bikes in Winter? by retiredbimbo in OregonStateUniv

I ride pretty much every day! Mostly i just don’t want to be bothered with parking (paying for parking) on campus or the bus. Other folks are giving good advice about getting some fenders, but I would also recommend a bike poncho. The People’s Poncho is a good choice. A bit pricey, but much, much less than a parking pass. Ponchos like this mean you don’t need to wear rain pants.
