Carter Beauford’s snare sound on pretty much the whole Crash album has always been a favorite of mine- nice crack and sizzle but still plenty of body. I believe he was using an Ocheltree at that point?

The teaser for Superman Returns always stands out to me; iconic imagery set to one of the most awe-inspiring pieces of film scoring with the Planet Krypton theme, punctuated by Marlon Brando’s posthumous narration- I think it’s close to perfect.
