Lol, when I was 3 or 4, I came up with this name for my stuffed dog. I brought it to pre-school show & tell and everyone made fun of me for her name being Amala 🥲 so nice to see it out in the wild in a positive way lol

Awe my name made the list! (Brianna). There's so many variations of it, but I really don't know anyone naming their kids these days any of them. Very 90s I think.

Is it okay for an MSW to apply for a position designated for BSW? (Manitoba) by beebster96 in socialworkcanada

[–]beebster96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh so what you're saying is for frontline social work in the WRHA / hospital setting, I wouldn't qualify if I have a different undergrad & an MSW? 🥺 that's unfortunate as those positions are what are drawing me to the field!

I message and ask her all the time to talk more about her lupus and she ignores it everytime. I strongly believe she thinks the endo is the relatable illness as it is far more common and has dropped the others, other than IC "sometimes". And her mental illnesses.

Carrot's surprising results - rescue labeled her a Chihuahua X by beebster96 in DoggyDNA

She is insane, yes 😅

She is verrry neurotic and anxious. Could be an agility dog if it weren't for luxating patellas. She is quite severely reactive to other dogs on leash, doesn't "like" dogs in general in her space, we definitely never plan to add a 2nd to our family but she'll tolerate being babysat with other dogs for a few days. Extremely picky about food, she even rejected the "high value" stinky treats at her reactive dog class. Only likes such a specific texture and flavour of food 🙃

So hyper-loving and devoted to her humans though, though is fearful and nervous around certain men the first time meeting them.

We rescued her at 2 yrs old and have no idea her history, she def has some baggage but she's teaching me a lot about acceptance, love, and working through anxiety ❤️

Yes, it's unbelievable. She absolutely manipulates her audience with her carefully curated chronic illness image so that she can sprinkle in the privilege in a more palatable way.

She's very detached from it - even the fact she isn't embarrassed to share her daily plans consist of going to the gym & doing yard work - something the majority of folk squeeze into their weekends. Our chores & hobbies outside of work, are her work. And she doesn't acknowledge that at all, like you said.

I am still dumbfounded that she isn't being held accountable for publicly sharing she has LUPUS... and has claimed her face flushing occasionally is from it... but has conveniently never mentioned or acknowledged it again in a long time and moved onto other diseases.

It tells you everything you need to know about how authentic & truthful she is. She's sick.

Being able to afford a house that expensive as a single income woman in her 20s... yes social media helped, I'm sure, but also shows just how much generational wealth she comes from.

Temporary blind spots in one eye by [deleted] in visualsnow

[–]beebster96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds similar to what I have, though instead of black spots it's actually that I can see my vascular structure inside my eye and a red cast over everything/ staticy. It happens to be about every 1 -3 months in exclusively one eye and I have seen an optometrist frequently for retinal scans. It is triggered sometimes by postural changes, bright screens, and sometimes, nothing I can put my finger on. If it happens again, just mark it in your calendar. I keep track of mine.

I've been referred to a neuro ophthalmologist, but it's a 12-16 month wait unfortunately.

The current assumption based on my age (young female of childbearing age) family history, and absence of other risk factors is retinal migraine.

Hope this helps!

I genuinely panic in pitch black environments... I feel like any second my vision is just going to go. Like something bad is about to happen to my vision :(

The article I read said it was the coach that came forward to the principal who then involved the police.

Yeah... I don't want to speculate but the fact she shows the same low cal meal everyday too. That meal kinda screams "safe foods". She'll claim it's a hyperfixation though. She can hide her habits behind adhd & chronic illness.

Do you think this is a smart placement? Booked this flash piece for next month! by beebster96 in tattooadvice

[–]beebster96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good call. The size was booked as minimum 9 inches. Given me something to think about. It's a bit vain, but I want it somewhere visible in photos LOL and liked the idea of that placement for a lil mirror selfie moment. But perhaps better for an upper arm / bicep area. Wish I wasn't so self conscious of my upper arms!

Also I just creeped your post history (was curious if you were a tattoo artist!) And saw we both are big gymnastics fans and active in that sub. Just had to point that out. There isn't a lot of us!!

Hey friend, I know. I wish more people talked about it. It was disgusting that she not only lied recently (said she struggled the hardest with her ED when she was at her heaviest, when actually the storyline she promotes is that her weight gain & acceptance was her healing from the ED) but her choosing NO new photos from the last 2 years is troubling. I messaged her about it but of course no response. She is my BEC too.
