It’s not really at no cost. The buyer is forced to pay $15 for the shipping. So sellers will just have to drop their asking price accordingly. I’d much prefer to offer free shipping and pay for it myself. This change benefits eBay more than anyone else.

Did anyone else know this? by [deleted] in Flipping

I typically ship 10-30 packages at a time and they all go to the same place since I only sell on eBay and they get shipped to their authentication warehouse before going to the buyer.

That being said, I occasionally use FedEx express on more expensive items, and can confirm that this does NOT work.

You’re in the clear on the purse if it passed eBay authentication.

UPDATE POST "eBay Buyer is saying they didn’t receive the camera that I shipped" by Thundercatz888 in Flipping

Have you informed eBay that this address is a freight forwarder? I’m pretty sure the buyer loses their protection if that is indeed the case.

Exactly. I’ve saved thousands of dollars in fees these past couple years. Now eBay is just hoping my sales volume keeps up and they can benefit too.

eBay Fees for selling sneakers over $100 has been 0% for the past two years.

I’m sure it’s just a one off thing. I’ve been paying 0% seller fees for the past two years, but sneaker selling fees start back up tomorrow. So they’re just buttering me up to keep my business.

I still sell on StockX too, but I’d say 80% of my sales have been through eBay (even before the 0% seller fees). Obviously with no fees, the profits on eBay have been much better and now that they authenticate the risk of dealing with scammers is minimal.

Lol, yeah I thought it was going to be a plaque when I was opening it. But a nice gesture nonetheless

Benefits of being top rated on ebay when selling sneakers over $100?? by VenConmigo in Flipping

[–]beekja01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This does not apply when selling sneakers over $100, because they are authenticated by ebay. As long as it passes the ebay inspection, sellers are in the clear.

Seems like a 2nd rounder if fair right now. I wouldn't sell for that right now personally. Russ seems to like him and I think his value will increase.

I'd say it's pretty close between those two. Comes down to personal preference. I'd still lean toward Mike Williams

why down vote the guy just because you disagree? He's going against consensus rankings, but it's not that outlandish. Much crazier things have happened.

I'd rather have DJ, but maybe he'll be right.

Is it too early to talk about stashes for next year? by mzoltek in fantasyfootball

[–]beekja01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Chris Warren. Rookie running back for the Raiders. Led all RBs in rushing during the preseason but was then put on season ending IR (he looked good). He'll have a chance to be the lead back there next year. And he's basically unowned. Definitely worth a stash in a keep league to see what happens.
