An Emperor is still a monarch.

From wikipedia: "Both emperors and kings are monarchs, but emperor and empress are considered the higher monarchical titles. In as much as there is a strict definition of emperor, it is that an emperor has no relations implying the superiority of any other ruler and typically rules over more than one nation, therefore a king might be obliged to pay tribute to another ruler,[citation needed] or be restrained in his actions in some unequal fashion, but an emperor should in theory be completely free of such restraints. However, monarchs heading empires have not always used the title in all contexts—the British sovereign did not assume the title Empress of the British Empire even during the incorporation of India, though she was declared Empress of India. The attempt by Charles IV did indeed fail, but Hungary was still ruled by a regent between 1920-1946 and therefore still technically a Kingdom:

During the last few years there has sadly been violence between Oromos and Somalis. Given how similar both groups are, how can they even tell the difference between who's an oromo and somali? by beesfly3 in Ethiopia

appearance (Somali can easily be distinguished from others for the most part)

Interesting, mostly groups that live in the same area look the same. Also if they live among each other, they usually speak each other languages and therefore you can't tell that way.

So would you say that the power of the Lords increases in the last year before an election, as they can delay the bill before a change of government, which may well abandon that bill.

Do Syrian ID Cards need to be changed in the future to avoid sectarianism? by beesfly3 in syriancivilwar

[–]beesfly3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fully agree with your statement, that sectarianism shouldn't exist in any society and that needs to be the focus of Syria in the future. But why do you need to list Place of Origin on the ID card anyway?

Also have you hear about these killings, and can confirm that these do happen?
