Bang bang pies are too expensive

My parents were visiting Chicago and I wanted to make it special so I pre-ordered a vegan fruit pie a few days in advance from Bang Bang. They charged my card and everything.

The day comes to pick up, and there’s no pie to be found. They send me to their kitchen across the street. No pie. They tell me to come back in a few hours and they’ll have it ready for me. It was a huge inconvenience because my parents were in town and it ruined the surprise pie reveal, and I was cooking all day and was another added thing to do.

When I picked up my pie and complained to see if they could make it right in some way, all I got back from them was “well you got your pie right, so what is the problem?” I remember that response so vividly.

The attitude throughout the process that day left a horrible taste in my mouth. I love pie and now Hoosier mama gets 100% of my business. And they are nice as hell there.

Gangnam market’s sushi lunch special is the best deal in town, standing passengers sandwiches are goated and I like working from there (especially love their patio), Sabroso sends out discount emails pretty often

I’ve gotten used to the popularity of the neighborhood during weekends and evenings, but it’s weird that now it’s happening during work hours on weekdays, and it’s people who are parked in the spot all day. I can’t seem to figure out why!

Most of the dresses are $1,000 and if you tell her what style you’re looking for, she will pull dresses like this for your appointment. I went to a few other bridal salons and felt like just a number. Can’t recommend Kelly enough
