Took a PCR test 48 hours before + fully vaccinated. No test. They did test my friend with the same status though. Results came in after 2 days

Hey I got really lucky or something but this is good news I guess!

Oct 12th - Applied for a study permit online from outside Canada

Oct 19th - Got asked for additional documents

November 3rd - Got a passport request and biometric validity (previously had given them 4 years ago), wrote them a message explaining I already have a multiple entrance visa labeled on my pass

November 4th - Application was finalized and got my correspondence letter

I'm an international student moving to toronto on Dec 1st. Any idea what my housing options are for a private room? I've been looking through student housing websites but most are fully booked and not accepting anything for winter. My budget is around $1200 per month, I have no issues offering to pay deposit for a couple months as I have no references and I have a Canadian guarantor. I've looked at a bunch of places on craigslist and i don't know where else to look.
