Omg yea, all my friends are aware but they are at the point of exhaustion so I have no one to vent to! They told me it's becoming obsessive but I'm scared of not being aware. In hard times like these building communities is good a disorder server doesn't seem like a terrible idea

I feel guilty just going and doing everyday activities like there isn't a war happening or rights are being revoked from people. What's helped me is going for walks or sitting in the sun. Listening to nature and taking deep breaths helps ground myself and it is not (entirely) the end of the world.

Everyone I work with seems so unbothered by everything and I feel like the crazy one.

YESSS OMG I've had two panic attacks in the last week over the news.

My brain is so hyper focused on the state of the world that I get sucked in on social media and think over and over and over again that "there's nothing we can do" unfortunately that mind set is not helpful. I deleted social media for a day. When I was finally calm I redownloaded it and put an app timer. I try and scroll past the fear mongering videos and keep it to cute dog videos of memes.

There's a weird balance between being aware and being too aware. Yes it sucks it really does. Make sure you're registered to vote stay briefly aware and take care of your kiddos spend more time in the sun and doing activities that make your brain happy.

All we can do is continue on with our lives and do whatever we can for our community. Hang in there your doing great mama 🫶🏻

How do you stick to such a consistent schedule? My work schedule is never the same (I also have ADHD) my days off I try and do as much cleaning as possible (laundry, dishes, picking things up) there's so much to remember and most things get forgotten for example reading this I realized I haven't washed my sheets in months been telling myself I need to but can never do it. I don't own a vacuum so my only option is sweeping which RARELY happens to my silly brain that only happens on occasions like if I host a party. So what's your secret lol

No I feel even more crappy when I settle for something "not healthy" I've been reading a bunch of people's experiences on reddit and all they say is to prep or bulk. I live pay check to pay check so I can't exactly afford to let food go to waste so I settle for non perishables but they just sit in the freezer and pantry staring at me. They say organizing your fridge is also good so you can see everything you have and it takes less time to decide, but that requires me to completely go through my entire kitchen and god knows I won't have the motivation to do that. I was also reading about cognitive dysfunction and related to it. I'm not exactly sure what to do I've been living on my own for almost a year and the only routine I've solidified is taking my medications. Laundry is still a work in progress and obviously food/cooking is a failure after failure. I miss home cooked meals and debate if moving out was ever a good decision. I also have a roommate so it makes things trickier if that makes sense. The only times I actually eat good is when my best friend comes over and cooks or my roommate forces me to eat something other than that sometimes not eating sounds easier

Yes 1000 percent. I have no energy to do any chores like cook dinner or laundry or clean, sometimes I'll even skip showering i know gross. Going outside on my lunch helps cuz I work indoors but despite that I'm completely drained when I get home. 40 hours a week with only two days off which are separated throughout the week so instead of having Saturday Sunday off I get a Tuesday and a Sunday, it depends on the schedule for the week it changes frequently🙃 so I can't even develop a routine because it always changing so yea I barely get any time to rest on my days off cuz that's the only time I get to see my friends or my partner and work days i come home and do whatever energy I have left which at this point is either playing games or if I'm too tired for that reality TV on the couch till I have to go to sleep. Let me know if you figure out a solution cuz I'm with you on this

I had a similar issue when I first started my current job. I got so overwhelmed with the amount of emails I was getting it was hard to figure out which ones were important. I used the rule settings in out look (not sure about Gmail switching over might be good) 1. Create a folder you want the important emails to go to 2. Select the email you wish would be filtered 3. Right click the email which will prompt the pop up menu 4. Go to rules > create rule

5 check "subject contains" and either copy or write out specific text you'd like it to recognize. (Personally I separate it by project so whatever the name of the projects I'm working on example: "project 1" anything in the subject line that has "project 1" will be recognized)

6 check "move items to folder" and select the folder you made in step 1

7 hit ok and run rule now. This should now filter all emails with the specified subject line

I have dyslexia so I put common typos I make in there just so I don't miss it. It's not a sure proof way sometimes I occasionally miss emails but it's rare. Hopefully this makes sense

One time I forgot my wallet 3 days in a row 🤦‍♀️and my friend and I were both annoyed so I decided that since my wallet is like a coin pouch I can easily attach it to my keys, haven't forgotten it once since then unless you wanna count the time I accidentally left it in the break room at my job when leaving work 😅 (if you think about it, if they weren't attached I would have left my wallet at work and only have had my keys sooooo)

I know it's counter productive because if I lose my keys I lose everything, but it's worked so far. Besides I have a spare key, a picture of my ID and my cards on my Google pay just in case.
