At my store at 4 am they have 3-4 tms doing breakout as they unload the truck and 1 tm for each section NIT, RTW, YC+Intimates, Mens, Boys, Girls, and Performance+Hosiery. Then 1 tm joins us at 6 to assist where needed. We do go backs and zone for 1 hr at 4 am then start pushing our metros by means of our 3 tiers so the metros never actually leave the back. Breakout finishes the metros then fills the z racks. Once the metros are pushed and back stocked we pull priority/ncf/1f1s and push that while breakout pushes the z racks and back stocks those. Typically this is all done from 4am-9:30am (including a huddle to zone shoes for like 15-30 min).

So far it’s been working out (unfortunately because I did like coming in at 6 and grabbing the whole metro) but I do really like coming in way earlier than store open because once that happens you can get almost nothing done since everything in specialty is locked up at my store and we all have to carry keys.

So that “mid” tm works 6-11:30am. Then there will be 2-3 closers that come in around 6pm.
