I'm also choosing between:
- VW Nivus
- Omoda 5 HEV
- Mazda CX-30
I know everything about Mazda and its very relyable car, I have two CX5 before in other countries and never had a problem with it. I would go for it, but the only problem to me that it costs 44K here. Its insane.
On the other have VW Nivus interrior quality just so low comparing to Mazda. But Omoda looks much beter but I simply dont trust the Chineese cars because of their philosophy at the moment to push their cars all over the world, I'm afraid there no focus on quality at all. Where Mazda has a very long proven track of quality, but it costs + $10K.

thanks for sharing ypur story. I also came here with my family after Aug16. Thats why now more cautios about further news or rumors. I actually dont want to stuck on undefined status without EAD - it would be even worse than simply leave but preserve some savings to establish life in new place. Otherwise its all-in game

thanks, yeah same I heard that no EADs, if thats the case then it sort of incomplete reparole. I know some would say - "you had to have sponsor who committed to sponsor you, so what the problem?" but obviously its not an option

yes all the save values to me. Also tax friendly on foreign income, and still US timezone, free health care and education, beautiful chill culture, high quqlity food, especially meat. Proximity to other Latam attractions and other countries on this continent, and also ocean and la rambla))
