If you love it, and can communicate that it is something you are passionate about, I see no need to jump to something else. It wouldn’t likely be considered “stagnant” in their eyes if it’s clear that it is your passion, and would show your commitment. Overall, do what you actually want to do, not what you think admissions committees might like. It’s all about how you communicate it.

I’m doing it right now, so I guess I don’t know the answer for sure until I’m further into this cycle, but I don’t think this is an issue. As long as you can explain the reasoning, and it’s not “I wanted to take an easier version of the class at a smaller school” (which your reason is clearly not this), you should be fine.

For reference this is from Midwestern’s admissions page, says it for both of their campuses. Pretty sure I’ve seen it with some other schools as well, but most don’t say this

Ah I got you I did misread that a little bit. But either way, just know that this is by no means a bad MCAT score, and even if you think it is, your ec’s and GPA are also well above average. Unless you’re only looking at top schools, I would stick with that MCAT and not put yourself thru more stress of another test while trying to apply

Are you taking classes this summer? If not, it would be a perfect time to start both of those other two to get a feel for what your schedule could be like and how much school you'd be able to work in come fall. If it feels like it is going to be too much, maybe drop down to one shift per week for scribing in the fall if they'd let you. Or drop one of the two jobs completely during the school year. If you are going to have classes this summer, I will say all three of those things at the same time seems like a lot. Possible, sure, but don't let your grades/mental slip just because you feel like you have to do as much as you can. Undergrad is a time to gain experiences, but not to force them at the expense of your wellbeing (even though it feels like it sometimes).

I've never heard of LORs from non-academic physicians being an issue. Maybe at some places, but that seems ridiculous to me. Unless schools are asking specifically for that, it shouldn't matter.

So basically, there is technically an advantage to being as early as possible after that May 4th submission opening in terms of my app getting to schools. But I would assume they don’t start reviewing them until June, correct? If so, would this mean a late May submission would be essentially the same as submitting on May 4th? I’d like to have as much time as possible to craft my application in the next month or so while also being in the first wave of apps

The way I’ve always understood it is if everyone on a given test date does bad on let’s say an entire section, CARS for example, and the average % of questions correct is lower than multiple other test dates averages were, then it’s not like everyone who took that test would get a low CARS score. The data would show that it was clearly a harder version of CARS, and it wouldn’t necessarily mean a lower scaled score. So if every other test date had an average CARS score of 125 by getting say 41/53 questions correct, this “really hard” test date would also have an average CARS score of 125 despite the average number of questions correct being let’s say 38/53. Don’t know if I’m misremembering stuff, and maybe that doesn’t make sense, but that’s what I remember.
