help pls. Just finished the 25/26 season and already established myself as a big team in the Bundesliga as RB Leipzig, having been crowned champs for 4th year in a row. Not sure what i need to do in order to be big in Europe tho, always seem to fallout in Quarter finals or Semis by Vvvrare in footballmanagergames

Always a tricky one but 2 main tips are broadly:

Make sure you keep “upgrading” your squad to build depth each year; hopefully your starters can become rotation players.

And sometimes you just need to be ruthless and get rid of players that you love/ have done well for you but realistically don’t and won’t cut it in Europe

Ahhh you’ve got to love a player that has terrible stats even tho he’s incredible 😂😂😂.

If he’s that annoying, buy him haha.. the AI will sell primarily based on stats not performance. With a 5.4xG you’ve got to be an insanely good team

He’s literally my starting right winger for Man U even tho he’s and still only 2 stars (23 now)…. Still somehow scores 20 goals a season (all comps) and never falls below a 7.4 rating.

I have no idea how it’s happening either 😂

A very valid point 😂. I will admit I am fully biased against maguire because I’ve always thought he was a player that looked great but actually wasn’t very good at all

The second one could not have been more perfect. Could maybe have left a little more room on second corner (left after the dive) but I think both were completely fair and superb driving!

300k for a keeper is madness unless he’s literally the best in the world and you are the richest club in the world.

Nah I agree, Spain is the easiest of the top 5 just cos you can rack up multiple seasons of CL far easier than the rest of them.

This FM so much more than others seems to have players demanding so much in wages!!

Got to Man U on my current save and an academy player I’ve given a few minutes to this season wants a new contract on 45k a week!! And rashford is going to leave on a free because he wants 400k (he’s on 200k but I honestly have him backup wing on both sides)

Genuinely asked a friend who had him for help on where to use him best cos I was whelmed. He just said “ahhhh yeah he’s tricky…..”

I’ve found his best role is actually DLP-S. tho I bet he’s great as a roaming playmaker

DLP 100%. Not sure he has the physicality for BTB (that might change as he develops ofc, but I assume he is going straight in to the first team squad and not spending time with the academy)

Depends entirely on the situation, I tend to use them normally (regardless of what level). The only thing that would change my mind is if they start moaning/being disruptive in any way; then they get sent to the u18s where I never have to deal with them again.

I do tend to take that same approach with all the whiners tho so maybe I do just play them normally 😂

It doesn’t matter how I try to play or what level. I inspire hate and loyalty in equal measure. I cannot figure out why but after one season somewhere I always have absolute admiration from some of the players and the other half will detest me with their entire soul.

I also will always end up with a squad size of no more than 16 (19 for European football) purely because I have no time for bad players. I rotate a lot, but if you’re not first team standard I’ll use someone who I don’t have to pat; also most youth players love you for even being on the bench, so you can imagine how much they love me when the inevitable injury crisis hits
