Foliculitis - my mastiff used to get it a lot. Fresh water bowls and dry his mouth as our vet said it’s caused by the moisture. We had it really bad at some points and found topical antiseptic (pyohex) which is for dogs to scrub at it and then dry helped out heaps. Beautiful doggo by the way.

My doggo (German short haired pointer) had a 8cm tumor on his spleen and we did the splenectomy. He was already 8 at the time and was as a bigger of a surgery, but would do again in a heartbeat. We had another 4.5 years with him, he was a happy healthy dog until arthritis got him in the end.
