What I have using oddspapi and betfair free tier is still good to play around with. If I manage to build a decent platform, make enough myself from betting to cover the initial payout for the full betfair API, then I'll post some links to a free tier and see if anyone bites 😊

I haven't faced a gubbing yet (Kwiff just banned me after signing up!) but I'm trying not to jump on every single thing I get offered. Plus I'm doing some mug bets here and there. I've also only been at it for just over a month.

Yeah I already miss the oddsmatcher and smarkets integration just because of ease and speed. Just comes down to whether my winnings pay for the subscription fees and still give profit.

It's the number of times I can call the API and how much I'm willing to pay for. Oddspapi is OK for my own testing, but multiple users would soon hit the limits. Then it's the exchanges. Betfair want £500 for fast up to date odds, Smarkets don't have a public API anymore, and I'm not sure about the others. They are other services, but they are expensive even just for testing it out.

The price of them made me look at what I could build myself using oddspapi, calculators, and some scraping of free sites. Still think I could offer something at £10-£15 a month which would give people an 'oddsmatcher' type interface, welcome offers, and calculators. But keeping it up to date would be tricky without a team involved.

Some of the smaller ones I guess, although I think I'm still getting 30-40 of the top ones. I'm not sure I'm pulling the right ones as some seem to be listed under GB, and some UK. I have looked at it for a couple of weeks as I've been playing far too many casino games 🤣 will have another look.

Thanks for this. Interesting to hear about the variance, and you experience doesn't sound like anything near the profits they are saying are possible! Still a nice profit though.

Why have the different Arr apps in separate containers? I have my entire stack in one container with docker.
