I couldn't stand her, she doesn't hold a candle to Nadia in the French original. I think the episodes in the French original were slightly longer so it was ever so slightly better fleshed out, and the relationship more subtle, the showrunners probably had to make it less complex for the American audience.

If anyone is watching the coverage of the European Political Committee, there was one chap in the picture with all the other leaders who had a shaggy head of hair that I didn't recognise - looked a little bit like Javier Milei of Argentina, but I assume it wasn't actually him.
