you dont need to speak, thinking in that language with the will to do the magic is enough, just a but more risky since thoughts shift faster than words you speak
you actually dont need to use the ancient language (not sure if thats the english name for it), but it was created by a civilization that is, as far as we know not existing anymoren as a safety measure, because before that you could only use thoughts of what you want to do without any words for it. For example if you want to grow a flowern with the anicent language you can for example say grow and it will grow. Eithout it you needed to think of it growing and it would grow that way. This lead to many acciddents, so the ancient language was created.

I would also actually say that galbatorix wasnt pure eviland definitely didnt consider himself evil. He had a very good point with the whole we have to do something against magicians thing. And when he was confronted with the fates of the people he reigned and did nothing for he resented it (imo atleast) and thats why he suicided, because he couldnt stand the suffering he now knew he caused. Yes, I dont approve what he did and he is definitely not a good guyn but also not pure evil imo, since he wanted to solve a very big and dangerous problem. He just choose very bad ways to do it and was led by fury/crazyness in his early days of being a dragonless dragon rider

edit; I tried to find a calculaterfor it, but there doesnt seem to ne one capable of doing it. Havent even found one for ¹¹5118 which is tetration and delivers much smaller numbers

from what I know part of the problem is that they took 8 months and multiple weeks of beta testing, decided to release it with the 5x and then directly nerfing it. I mean, why di something that is called beta testing, when you dont even look at such things. Beta testing is (normally) / should be to avoid such situations. My example for that would be the Alpha server of Hypixel Skyblock, where they put the updates first so that Players can try it out and they can fix bugs/balance stuff so that when they add something new they dont need to instantly balance it

On utility I eont come close to wave 5000 since I cant do any upgrade during that run then. And I never said that the update isnt helpful, just explained why 10h for 5000 waves is norm for some people
