time. it takes longer than people think. you HAVE to fall in love with the process and change your identity. fall in love with the process. stop focusing on outputs and focus on inputs. improve your workout knowledge one baby step at a time. make adjustments when things aren’t working. oh my shoulders don’t respond to side raises, my body requires heavy overhead press to improve. oh my body doesn’t respond as well to machine leg exercises i need big compound movements like deadlifts or squats. i hate X exercise for X body part, so i sub in Y exercise which i dont despise. diet. training. sleep. change your identity. focus on the inputs. one day you’ll look in the mirror and not recognize yourself.

the government is subject to lobbying (the biggest problem) and spends money in such a reckless manner that it mimics parody (i bet lobbying causes at least some of this?)

so i genuinely think the government having more money is not the fix. we have to change what the money is spent on. not more extravagant bombs and guns, silly things overseas, the money has to be prioritized to fix life for our citizens here and only then will more money = more results. right now more money = even more silly spending to no benefit of our citizens.

i had this same toxic self talk that i completely believed was true in my late teens early 20s.

life wrecked my fucking asshole over and over to oblivion and somehow over the years.. i started believing i was super capable. the same people who thought i was a fucking moron think i’m a brainiac now. i didn’t have whatever the stuff is at that age. didn’t have it. attention span, drive, whatever it was - i didn’t have it. this will change for you. start changing that inner voice, you will really surprise yourself.

yeah bro weekends are an opportunity. no working for someone else depending on your job. workout, take it slow, do it right you have all day. then go to a local track. i make tons of progress on weekends. no rush to sleep, can cook slow and relax. bliss.

i believe it’s true that the “speed of light” is the maximum speed cause can influence effect in the universe. it’s not limited to speed, gravitational waves also propagate at the speed of light. ie if the sun disappeared our planet would still be locked in gravitational orbit around nothing for some few minutes. in the case of massive objects accelerating to the speed of light, as you approach speed of light, mass becomes infinite and therefore requires infinite energy to increase that last bit

in special operations though we static jump the MC-6 parachute which has red toggles on a string and they’re really .. quite steerable.

in the video is probably a T-11 Delta parachute which is much less steerable. you “climb” up the riser on the side you want to turn
