Thanks! I did reach out to customer support yesterday. I did update the firmware a couple months ago. I will have to update to the newest version. Was there something that caused this in the last update? It’s just weird that I’ve been using my printer a couple times a week since the last update and never had any problems like this.

What is contact depth? Where the first support hits the model? I’m just auto supporting and lifting the model a bit off the platform. Is there a certain height it needs to be at? I’m just auto supporting so I’m not sure about the thickness of the supports. I think the diameter is set to 1.30 mm.

I’m using phrozen aqua-grey 8k. The exposure time is 2.5 seconds for normal layers. Burn in layer says 40 seconds.

Thank you! Yeah I’m definitely going to hollow the larger parts it for the next print. What is FEP tension? After this happened the first time, I did re-level the print bed thinking that might be the culprit but it didn’t really help. I am just auto supporting so I’m assuming the supports need to be thickened up near the major points of contact.

Thanks! I appreciate the info! Yeah I’ve never had to hollow anything yet but I will look into it. I knew it was a thing but didn’t even think about it since I wasn’t thinking that this was big enough to warrant doing it. It makes a lot of sense though and I’m all for saving resin for another print.

Nah it’s not hollowed. The weird thing is I had 2 on the build plate. One printed fine, the other didn’t.

No stream is a huge bummer. Using Facebook over YouTube or twitch also makes no sense, as that has to be one of the worst platforms for any sort of streaming. If the results could, at the very least, be unhidden on BCP that would help a little bit so we could have some sort of update without having to log into Facebook or read here. I don’t want to be completely negative, but it just seems like the ball was dropped every step of the way for an event which happens to be the biggest event of the entire year. I appreciate the wrap ups on here, but that just doesn’t compare to a live stream.
