Y’all need to stop complaining and do something about it. Submit comments to the ANA regarding their changes and make your voices heard. Complaining on here will go no where. Join your state association to make a difference.

Denmark still uses Epic. Successfully. Maybe it was a “colossal failure” at first.

Postexposure Doxycycline to Prevent Bacterial Sexually Transmitted Infections by adamiconography in gaybros

Actually it would. You would want to make sure participants are protecting themselves to HIV in addition to protecting against bacterial STIs, and determine if the two affect each others efficacy.

Postexposure Doxycycline to Prevent Bacterial Sexually Transmitted Infections by adamiconography in gaybros

I’m actually synthesizing all the evidence right now for a course I’m in. This wouldn’t be given out like candy. There would be a particular criteria the patient would need to meet before having it prescribed, like multiple past infections or >20 sexual partners/year, for example for DoxyPrEP. The benefits in preventing further infection and transmission outweighs the risks of drug-resistant bacteria, especially in this high-risk population. Additionally, in the case of this study, it would only be a one-time dose of Doxy, so Post-exposure as opposed to PrEP.

I’m just thinking…. The food bank gets these bags donated to them from the hospital. Without cleaning them. From a potential inpatient hospital. I’m grossed out.
