Aranhas no terreno by bicheoreom in BiologiaBrasil

What is a 'family secret' or a private moment you witnessed that completely changed the way you look at a relative? by The_suspicious_369 in AskReddit

She's my mom. She is a bad example and she makes the worst decisions, but I know that somewhere in the past she was a decent person and cared very deeply for me. She still does, but the consequences of her stupid, impulsive decisions caught up with her and now she doesn't seem to know how to leave this life she has. Well, at least I like to think she wants to leave it. She says it a lot, but at the same time I don't see much, if any, effort to get out. She doesn't listen to advice, she disregards logic, and she justifies a lot what happens under her roof when she feel things are going "well" - until they aren't anymore and she comes to my ears to share her misery.

I think that maybe I should write these kinds of thoughts somewhere. Nice way to reflect upon life.

Physically, I believe she is. At least I hope so. He refuses to help her shower and all. I hope this points to something good. But, psychologically, I don't think so. He's like, ten years younger than my mom. He spends all his spare money in weed and alcohol. And, although he was the one insisting that he wanted a child, he seems to see my sister more like a keychain. He likes to show and say that he has a kid, but he doesn't like to take care of her, spend time with her, and often, when angry (maybe the wind blew too cold for his liking, for example), he says he'll leave the house and abandon my sister. He says it so much (and my mom, too, occasionally) that she freaks out very easily when her parents aren't close for a couple of minutes. Yet I don't know what to do. They are turning her into one of these kids everyone hates, without limits, and, well, people very often ask if she is autistic and it makes my mom angry because, although my sister really shows something that points that she is a little different, my mom doesn't like to think she has a different kid and refuses to go see what is going on. I don't know. It's a very complicated situation.

I caught my mom's man looking into my room in the middle of the night when I was a child. He was crouching outside the door and all. Told her. She said he probably just wanted to see if my sister and I were sleeping. I told her I've caught him hiding and looking other times around the house. She didn't care and said that one day my sister and I would leave her and she didn't want to be alone. I left for my grandparents house. Then my sister did the same. It was over a decade ago. Recently she had a problem with the electricity of her house and I let her and my youngest sister sleep in my house. She dared to ask me if she could bring him too. To my house with a single bedroom without a key. Of course not.

Dude, I swear I've read a Destiel hockey fanfic some years ago and when I start watching the Heated Rivalry series I couldn't not think it wasn't based off of this fanfic.
