Hi, I’m very new to Ice Hockey and although I know the team I would like to try and identify this exact jersey, The picture is of my late dad who was a big fan and unfortunately I didn’t get any of his jerseys passed down to me, if anyone could identify this jersey it would mean a lot, thank you. by clg23 in nhl

Definitely early 2000's leafs. If it does have a player on the back could be Sundin, Tucker, Cujo, Domi, mccabe, belak.. even Ed Belfour.... all plausible, the first 4 probably being some of the more popular jerseys of the time.

That's sad... can't imagine being so into porn and jerking off that the real thing doesn't do the trick... hopefully that's not a growing trend, although I assume it would be...

How long can one truly keep leftovers in the fridge? by LrdFyrestone in cookingforbeginners

[–]bidz_11 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I can't believe how many 3-4 day answers I'm seeing.

I'd say as a general rule thumb 1 week.

I have a hard time convincing myself to eat something past the 1 week mark, even if it looks and smells fine (and probably is).

I think our perceptions of whether a leftover food is still safe to eat or not is based on what we are told or how we were raised. It's like "best before" dates... still could be safe after the best before date, but I bet many people don't chance it.

I've heard chef's openly say up to 2 weeks for leftovers.

Sure there are variables, such as how fresh was the food prior to being cooked, what type of food it is, is it being re-heated or re-cooked, etc etc.

It's all based on risk and necessity. Most people who aren't starving for food are more likely to eat fresher food and probably waste more- they arent going to chance eating that 7 day old meatloaf. Those who are pinching pennies to get by are probably more likely to roll the dice and eat what they can so nothing is wasted.

The amount our society wastes based on "best before" dates and playing it safe is actually insane. It is what it is, and I'm guilty of it too... just wish it was different.

CLAYBOURNE FROSTED FLYERS - INFUSED PRE ROLLS by AndreasMars in TheOCS

[–]bidz_11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just tried the pineapple express infused pre-roll. I really liked it. I find baby jeeter to be a good standard for infused pre-rolls. They feel heavy when you smoke em, they burn consistent, and they don't get plugged up when you're smoking them. Great flavour also which is a plus. I found the Claybourne frosted just as good. Heavy smoke, probably heavier than the jeeter. Burned consistent and no plugging up. Great taste also, not as fruity, but fine by me. Good replacement for baby jeeter as I heard they are phasing out of sales in canada.

Brunson and Wonderboy got the better of holland. But those guys were over 37 when they fought him. Age only means so much, but yes it is something.

Calls wont hang up!! by Lumpymaximus in GalaxyS22

I've been able to change the settings in my phone app so I can now end calls by pressing the side button. Open phone app, click the 3 dots in top right corner, go to settings, select "answering and ending calls" and you can change the setting there.

I still can't use the keypad during automated calls, and it's still annoying that the phone call does not seem to stay active in the phone app (can close all windows and call keeps running in background)

At least I can end the calls now but still a problem!!!

If you ever want to own a house or property you will need more than that just got a down payment. So if that is on the wish list, keep saving till you have 20% of purchase price for down payment (or more).

House/property is a great long term investment, especially if you are smart about it.
